Do you see a speaker icon at the bottom right corner when you press and hold X? If not, then try doing these:

> Check if your headset has the mute button (if there is) turned off.
> Type "microphone" in the Windows search bar and then click "Microphone privacy settings"
> The first text shows that whether or not the microphone access is on and in order to use your microphone that setting should be "Microphone access for this device is on". If it is on then scroll down and make sure "allow desktop apps to access your microphone" is enabled. If not, you can just change it.
> Go to settings in TruckersMP (cog icon in TAB menu or at the top left corner that is at the log-in screen when you first launch TMP) then under the sound section you'll see a setting called "Microphone device". Try out all of these options you've got there by clicking "Start test" to see which one works.
> If you are using a jack connector for your microphone device the jack cable must be connected to the microphone port (they are mostly colored in pink and have an icon). However some PC cases have speaker and microphone in a single port so this might not be the case (pun-unintended) for you.
> As a last resort, reinstall the truckersmp launcher (https://truckersmp.com/knowledge-base/article/147)

Keep in mind that you can't hear or speak with anyone if you are on channel 0. If you have the speaker and microphone ports seperate then you'll have to use a jack splitter.

I hope this was helpful ?

Hello, Please check whether a small white speaker is in the right-bottom corner of the screen. If the X button is allocated either as another function or if there is no microphone connected to the computer, the speakers in the bottom right corner will not appear. Also, it could be also possible that you have disabled the voice chat in your TruckersMP settings. Connect to the server and make sure that the CB radio is turn on, if you want to change a channel press the Y(chat) key and change the channel to "/cb [channel] (for example: /cb 7)" and press hold the x key and speaking.

Press "TAB" key in the game and try to make Sound settings from settings. Make sure that the correct device is selected here. If your device does not appear, try the following steps.

1. Right click the volume icon on your taskbar:  http://prntscr.com/lr5rjc

2. Click sounds and then go to the playback tab http://prntscr.com/lr5qoj

3. Right click speakers / the green ticked device and select properties: http://prntscr.com/lr5qfq

4. Go to the advanced tab. Then ensure the following settings in the image are set. Afterwards, press restore defaults. http://prntscr.com/lr5q12

5. Restart TruckersMP.

6. If this fails to work: a reinstall of your audio drivers would also eliminate another possible solution.

Kind Regards,
