My music player (Radio player) keeps turning off randomly

I am very new to ETS2 and TruckersMP and i'm trying to use the radio to listen to music with my friends but whenever i start driving with the radio on it keeps turning off randomly.
When i alt-tab sometimes it comes back other times it stays gone.

Any help would be appreciated

First of all, welcome to the TruckersMP forum and congrats on your first post!

 

Does this problem only occur while you are driving on the TruckersMP servers or does it also happen when you play ETS 2 in singleplayer on Steam?
However, I found the following topics in Steam from players, that also had different problems with their radio in-game:

Regarding the second topic, I would definitely recommend to try launching Steam & TruckersMP as administrator and see if this solves your problem.

i had this problem with downloaded music too. its because i did it with a crappy mp3 converter so the music stops when a song converted with that converter due to id3 datas i think . i also have problems with some radiochannels which doesnt work even if they are in my country. i guess its a problem of the game itself

Hey hey, I have some updates
Yesterday I tried a bunch of things;

1: I tried running ETS2 and TMP in admin in admin and radio did not work
2: I tried using the music player feature in both ETS2 and TMP and it did work.
3: I tried validating game files, did nothing.

But I found a solution on listening to radio with my friends; just listen on radiotrucker.com

Thanks for the help but I don't think I'll get the in-game radio to work.

Hello,

 

So from your description, it looks like there are some clashes of the hotkeys of the radio. You may want to check if the same hotkeys are used for two different functions.
