Yes, it is closely related to the Austria update. However, there have been changes to TruckersMP's prohibition policy. I think the mass will be kept for a long time by these factors.

Promods still not supported. Promods players just have to go on the main Simulator1 server if they want to play TMP.

it could be because of the last update, but I believe more because of all the players who had a permanent ban returned to the game, I believe more in that.

As TMP has updated the rule §2.8, plus Austria has reworked, so attracted a lot of players to play or returned to TMP.

Its seem like players are curious about some big changes of the game cause the number of online players significantly rising. Nevertheless it will be lasted for around few month later as those changes are getting old. Wait for TMP to release DBus and u will see more players come and go.

I noticed an increase in players prior to the 1.44 release, i'd say the mass unbanning brought back alot of people to the game. I only say this because I rarely travel the C-D road anymore as the entertainment part of how it used to be just wasn't there anymore. It was a half dead road compared to 5 years ago.... I've travelled it twice since the mass unbanning and got caught up with 3 major crashes just on one run of the road. So yes 300 players on the CD road against 90 at Austria on a Sunday evening..... (played yesterday and streamed for 4 hours over those points of the map) I'd say a little bit of 1.44 and a major part of the unbannings.

The reason why the number of tmp online is very high; It attracts people's influence and increases because of the good events held, they share them on youtube channels and also the players who shoot funny moments put them on youtube.

It may be that a new CD road has been launched. You don't have to go to promod to experience the mountain road. Now players who have the game body can also experience it.
