Hello,

I had the same problem too 2 days ago. What fixed it for me was deleting the config file in the Euro Truck Simulator 2 Directory. I recommend doing the same and after deleting the config file, restart your computer.

Hope it will solve your problem!

Hey, make sure you're not using any unsupported mods, there was a small update couple days back. Make sure you have latest .NET Framework and Visual packages installed. Verify your game's files from steam launcher. Moving on, right click speaker icon on the taskbar, click "Sounds", go to "Playback" tab and open properties for your default playback device. Change your sample rate to whatever has 44100 or 48000Hz.  You can also do what NexusMEISTER said, just be sure you do not delete the whole ETS2MP or Euro Truck Simulator folder. Make a backup of this folder just in case. To rule out more possibilities try launching the game in 32bit mode. Also, verify the game files from steam launcher, this is the first step you should take.
