Fatal game crash upon TruckersMP launch

ScytheG6

Question

i get a generic Fatal error, https://imgur.com/a/5fOriph whenever i try to launch TMP. game works fine in single player.

Ive tried numerous fixes in the past week:

-updating drivers

-verified game files

-complete uninstall and reinstall of ETS, ATS and TMP

-Updated windows

-used SFC /scannow in windows CMD

-Launching in administrator

-changing launch from dx11 to opengl in config.cfg

Ive spent about 10 hours trying to fix before coming on the forums and reddit.

Hello,

First of all, I'd like to say that I'm sorry you're having trouble.

Steam Library  > Euro Truck Simulator 2 ( press right mouse button ) > Betas > None

Then your game will be updated. After your game is updated, I recommend that you try again by updating its local files once.

I hope i can help you.

Kind Regards,

Hello @ScytheG6

I will suggest that you try to revert back to the latest version of your NVIDIA driver and see if that fixes it:

  • Open Device manager.
  • In Device Manager, locate the display adapters.
  • Tap-and-hold or right-click on the device's name or icon and choose Properties. The device's Properties window will open.
  • Select the Driver tab.
  • Select the Roll Back Driver button.
  • Select the Yes button to the "Are you sure you would like to roll back to the previously installed driver software?" question.
  • Restart your PC. And log in your game.

If the problem persists, please send us the files:

  • game.crash
  • game.log

I wish you good luck

Ive already tried on the previous display drivers but here are my game crash and log files. Still have no idea why. Had a few programming friends look at it and they are scratching their heads.

game.crash.txt game.log.txt

Hello there,

There's some issues related to ASUS Aura. Try opening "Documents/Euro Truck Simulator 2/config.cfg" and change uset cf_asus_aura 1 to uset cf_asus_aura 0.

Thank you so much, That has fixed the issue, hopefully this is helpful to others in the future ?
