change youtube volume in game

hello as the title suggests I wanted to ask you if you know how to change the volume of youtube in the game without changing the sound of the game but only youtube I have always used this but it lowers the general volume of everything while I would like to keep the game always the same and reduce or increase only youtube thank you

You can lower it down in the Volume Mixer, right click on your speaker icon and you should see it there. I'm not too sure how to change the YouTube volume in-game, you could use the Steam overlay and tab+shift as needed?

PS: Besides what my predecessor has said you can alternatively change the volume sound in the in-game settings.

Hello there,

 

Buttons on your device will just change your system volume, affecting both applications, and in-game controls in the menu you have to pull over and stop to use.

 

I haven't tried myself, but it may be possible to use a third party hot key software for another key on your keyboard that would change application software volume instead of system volume. Otherwise, this would be the only other way that you could do this.

An external soundcard could also help to separate the sound outputs.

 

I used a Soundblaster X-FI Surround 5.1 for flight simulation/ VATSIM, routing the aircraft sounds over the external soundcard to my speakers and using the internal soundcard to route the voice radio to my headset.
