Question about VTC

Greetings fellow truckers,

I am trying to make a VTC for me and my friends but I am kind of new to the game (40hrs). I made it on https://truckersmp.com/vtc but I don't know benefits from it in-game. There is 0 difference, I can't see company tag on TAB (that is usually in color for

other people, like green or red).

I also don't know how to start the same job as my friends because we are different levels so it's impossible to find same jobs all together, but I've seen that it's possible when a group of 10 people with same name tag went past me.

First, welcome to the TMP Community (if you are new here). The VTC System can be a good advantage for you. Indeed, it's a possibility for you to create some ads, or post some pictures on VTC's Gallery. Some months ago, I was Upper Staff of a company, and I can tell you, that VTC on TMP can be a great thing when dealing with VTC applications, when you want to see clearly how many drivers there are in your VTC,... About your second comment, there isn't any relation between your VTC and your in-game tag. Indeed, some people want to drive with VTC Colors, but sometimes, they attend to a convoy as Event Staff, so they have a specific tag of their Convoy Organization. There are many groups, who aim at managing, supervising convoys. For example, in France, there are TGI, OCSC Event, U2F,... and many other international Convoy Groups ! So yeah, it's normal, the tag changes for most of people. I just gave you a reason, why the tag can be different for one player.

 

About your last comment, there are some possibilities for you to drive with your friends and have the same job. You can use World of Trucks external contracts : there are some (not all) jobs in common, but there is a speed limit of 90 km/h in this case. Or, you can use Dispatcher, to create some deliveries. I tested some software, and for me, Trucky Overlay is the best. Or, you can use the TMP Dispatcher ! We have this article : https://truckersmp.com/blog/258 and all is fully explained !
