HeaVeNxyz

Question

Hello,

I have problem with ETS2. Game random crashing. Sometimes after a minute of driving a truck, 10 minutes or only after an hour.

I have the latest drivers. I tried on older drivers but the problem persists.

I couldn't send to pastebin because game.log is too long.

Hello @HeaVeNxyz,

Please try the following solutions:

1. Launch the game as Administrator.

2. Make sure you have the latest .NET Framework version.

To download the latest .NET Framework version, head over to the following website: https://dotnet.microsoft.com/download

3. Verify your game files on Steam.

- Open the Steam Launcher, head over to your library and make a right click on Euro Truck Simulator 2.

- Press Properties and head over to Local Files

- Click on "Verify integrity of game files" and wait until Steam is done doing that. You may receive a new download after Steam is done.

4. Uninstall any mods that you might have.

5. Delete config.cfg from Documents/Euro Truck Simulator 2. A new one will be generated when you launch the game.

6. Reinstall TruckersMP completely.

- Open your Windows Search and search for %programdata%. It should find a folder called %programdata% - open that folder.

- Once you opened that folder, try to find the folder TruckersMP and delete it.

- Open your documents and delete the folder(s) ETS2MP / ATSMP.

- Once you have done that, open your windows control panel and head over to programs and features. Once you are in there, delete the TruckersMP Launcher.

- After that head over to our download page and download the Launcher to reinstall the game.

Please let us know if any of those solutions work for you.

All the best,

Hello @HeaVeNxyz,

Welcome to the forum and congrats on creating your first forum topic ?

I'd like to ask a few things before giving more instructions than already has been given above:

1. Where do the crashes usually occure?

2. What server are you driving on?

3. Are there a lot of players around you, when you crash?

4. Is this only an issue on TruckersMP or also in Singleplayer? (If you haven't tested Singleplayer, please do so) ?

I'll be looking forward to hearing from you ?

Sincerely,

Try downloading the driver for your graphics card again, and make sure it's set up for 'Perform clean installation' seen at the bottom of the following picture: saggg5hh6i711.png

Latest driver: https://www.nvidia.com/Download/driverResults.aspx/180225/en-us

Then please test again ?

Hello @HeaVeNxyz,

Try launching the game using DX11:

Open your Steam launcher and head over to your Game Library. Choose Euro Truck Simulator 2, hit play and choose Launch with DirectX11 (64-bit).

Hello @HeaVeNxyz,

according to your log it seems to be a problem with your graphics card.

1. Please make sure that you're not overclocking your GPU and it's running on stock settings. --> Sometimes this could cause any issue with Euro Truck Simulator 2

2. Also, make sure that all your GPU uilitys are up to date. (for example: MSI Afterburner etc.)

Kind regards

You should be good with Aorus Engine: try with gaming mode ?

And also, try launcing TruckersMP launcher with Admin rights
