The MP is losing the fun. The only thing you can do is deliveries in cities. I am part of a group on Facebook with over 10k members. 99% of them prefer to play offline because the MP do not have fun.

In MP you can not have employees in your company because it receives no money from the work. That is, you have to be a lonely wolf. There is no partnership in the game, because the gain is individual.

Are there plans to do company online?

Without them the game gets very monotonous, because there does not exist a process of evolution.

Another thing, the speed limit should be 110, because 90, leaves the radar of some useless places.

The speed limiter is hard coded by SCS, so it's either on or off, we can't change that.

I have heard that when the profiles go server side, that there is a chance of companies being online to and that you will hopefully be-able to employ real drivers.

This isn't confirmed but just something I heard that could happen.

Announcements will be made on any changes when they happen.

And just to add also, EU2 is not 90 limit... why not try that one with your group if you want a bit faster speeds.

I liked the idea of the company / drivers thing when I bought the game first, but then finding out that actually it was just names on a list, and you could never actually watch your own drivers doing a job in the custom painted truck you made for them, left me quite disappointed.

in all fairness,i know this isnt SCS forum and you guys cant do anything about this, but how hard is it for SCS too put in a 90,110,120,130,140 km/h speed limiter in? i mean they have the code allready for a speedlimiter.its only little adjustments..i dont know about you guys but i bought thanks too this ets2mp mod going east, few paintjob packs on sale and high power cargo.also i bought for my gf ets2 + highpower cargo i believe.

and im very sure im not the only one who spend monney on this game thanks too this mod.

soo realy i think SCS could say thank you and do this little favour for you guys..

maybe start a petition or something for SCS and see howmany people will sign it and deliver it too SCS.SCS is a relative small company highly dependent on keeping its customers happy,im sure a succesfull petition will put  a little presure on em.

1st.  I dont understand why you want the speedlimit to be set higher than 90 km/h. That is the max allowed speed for trucks in most European countries. Maybe set it to 100 km/h but everything abouve is just stupid. I am not even sure if the breaking system of a truck is set to work permamently if going 140 km/h.  If you want to go that fast than buy a racing game. This is a truck driving Simulator!!

2nd. I have been playing this games for a long time. I started with one of the early 18 WoS games. I think it was the second game when it was possible to see your own trucks on the road. I dont understand why it was removed and there have been a lot of people at that time (includign me) preaching that this games needs a multiplayer function but scs has always said it will not happen. I personally dont understand why but it seems to be creating some sort of problem for them which seems stupid as you guys did such a great job to get it started. I also think that is is very narrow minded by them as most people want to play online with their friends now.

I would not even mind paying a monthly sub for having a game where the MP is like the SP game...with some more options.

Actually also in MP you're worker do work. They just do a very long time for completing the jobs.

In Single player mode the avg. job time for a driver is around 25 hours. In MP the avg job completion time is 400 hours. That is why it seams you're workers aren't working..

It won't even think of touching the subject of the speed limiter. That is a discussion that was already ongoing when I joined and they still have decided who is right.

Now we have two equal servers (both with collisions) where one server has the speed limiter on and the other with the speed limiter off.

But have you tried using an 410HP engine instead of the much too powerful 700+ engines. The trucks in our fleet with double (city) trailers don't even have that much horsepower. It's no problem hauling cargo up to 60T with a Volvo FM11 330HP truck. I see it daily.

full.jpg

Also with my DAF XF (6) truck with 410HP engine I hardly make it over the 90km/h speed limit and the top speed I managed to get was 121km/h (downhill). It probably could have got a little bit faster but a turn was coming up so I had to let the trottle up to slow down to make the turn..

Plz swap the servers.Nsl will be #1 , Sl #2 . because many people don`t even know that there is a server #2 with Nsl

I find it odd people constantly beg and ask to either remove SL or swap the servers because they THINK people play with SL because it's the first server on the list. It is not because of that. You're playing a SIMULATOR. And european road legal trucks all NEED to be speed limited at max 90 and minimum 70 km/h. Even trucks from outside EU need to be speed limited. I've seen enough players online who can't even handle taking a corner correctly or handle the simple fact of using the right lane, turn signals, blasting horns when they pass by in the midle of the night, ... sure, it's still a game but if you just want to race, ...

I drive a Renault Premium 380 bhp irl for Bpost, so not always the heavyest loads, just on fridays when you're completely full with newspapers it gets kinda hairy going uphill on the longer climbs (+2km) where your actual top speed might drop under 85 km/h. Rest of the week, smooth sailing at 90 km/h and you fly by a whole lot of Scania/Volvo drivers with the powerhouse engines whom need to slow down just for fuel comsumption reasons. And here you sit talking about having speed limiters removed because it's less fun in a topic where the question was if companies would become more integrated over in game.

Good on ya, khSendeR

Are you crazy. People already have a hard time reversing with a single trailer.

But these week the open beta should be updated to version 1.17. This version won't be compatible with the MP mod, but I think it is still a lot of fun testing out a new version.

And while the double trailers are a Scandinavian feature, I don't think that there is something that prevent you from driving double trailers  in the rest of Europe. It probably requires a change in the 'cargo trailer' definition and some extra entries in the 'in' and 'out' dircetories for the various companies.

Should be fun to see if reversing a double trailer in the game is easier or harder than in real life. Reversing a single trailer in the game is a bit harder because of the more limited field of view.

In the game I need to turn my head quite far to look in the mirror on the right side, while IRL only a very slight turn is enough to catch a glimp in your mirrors (other traffic or obstacles).

But you can adjust the mirror :P

I used to using 32" monitor, but since i'm not using tv for play anymore, i feel reversing without cam no 5 is very hard by 14" monitor

No, they're are actually double trailers (two pivot points).

Most combinations have a dolly in between them (see the picture I posted earlier), but there are also other connection options out there where trailers are more chained behind each other, bot those are more boxtruck like connections and the maximum weight (including towing trailers behind the current one) is 22T. However, there is a lot of light cargo like pallet freight that doesn't weight much, but easily take up 1,5m2. The average weight of a pallet at our company lies around 300kg (I think, never checked, but estimated on the amount of dispatch papers I have seen) and you can fit 10 pallets into a 20" (6m) trailer. The benefit of three 20" trailers is that they are easier to handle in more crowded spaces although these double trailers are not allowed in the city (at least in The Netherlands).

well it seems like alot of peopel atleast play EU1 because it has alot of people on it.and i agree with that statement,i find traffic way more realisme then empty roads with a speedlimiter.

I'm also looking forward to it, as I am looking forward to introducing more interior mods and maps, as SCS has other priorities than making it more real :)

But have you tried using an 410HP engine instead of the much too powerful 700+ engines. The trucks in our fleet with double (city) trailers don't even have that much horsepower. It's no problem hauling cargo up to 60T with a Volvo FM11 330HP truck. I see it daily.

I so agree with that! It's much more demanding and fun to haul a 25t cargo with an "under-powered" truck. A 560HP V8 Scania is a beast in real life and it's accurate for most of the cargos in the game. A 750 HP Volvo would be sufficient for: 1. 100t cargo or 2. trolling.

Although I think SCS got some of it wrong. The 410HP DAF wouldn't die on a slight hill climb with 22t on his back like it does in the game, and I'm talking about a climb that is even hard to notice - it suddenly loses it's power and you can't see if something has changed in the scenery and then you say: "Oh yeah, right, I'm climbing" :) So it would be nice if they optimized that.

Seriously... what is truck?

You're an admin yet you say the speedlimiter is unable to be edited > which is false because they're changing it in the new update.

There has already been suggestions made about companies/profiles going server-side when the beta is released
