SCS or TMP ?

TMP best in its own way. Rules are most important for TMP to work.

TMP so far, we don't know what SCS will bring in the future but they will never bring the same kind of servers and gameplay.

This is my vision on the subject.

TruckesMP:
+ Rules that protect yes and to an extent;

~ Traffic rules that make no sense, except for overtaking;

+ Convoy action with lots of people, compared to SCS at present;

- LAG cause by Asian players with modded trucks and trailers in absurd combinations and with a low speed Internet connections;

+ VTC Event system;
~ TMP staff is absent in the game most of the time or not answering.

 

SCS MP:
+ The Host chooses who is in his session;
+ Traffic is there = less sleepy time while driving;
+ Somewhat stable, but reliable system;
+ Unified dispach = no need for Trucky, TB, etc.
- only 8 peeps;
- no server, causes some severe lag depending on host's PC;
- no ProMods support yet;
- no sliders to change the session's parameters.

• Your own server so you choose the rules (although, I have seen that going badly quite enough to stray away from the public ones!)

I prefer TruckersMP. I tried out the SCS convoy mode once and it was absolutely terrible. I enjoy the high standard that TMP has. And in TMP you always meet new people you won’t meet in the SCS MP. It’s always fun in TMP to meet new people, especially in high populated areas, but I also enjoy driving and exploring the world on ProMods without many traffic.
