ETS2 Game crashed fatal error

Question

I can't play ETS2 anymore because of this error. I took like a month off of playing ETS2 MP and when I returned, I get this annoying piece of garbage. I haven't had this before. I played normally without issues like a month ago. I don't have any idea what to do... 

BTW I have seen the other topic which insists adding "-homedir" to target in TruckersMP shortcut's properties. And it did not work, obviously. It just deleted all my saves and made me to create a new  account. ( Fixed that by removing -homedir ).

So, what can I do? Shall I just stop playing this game at all?

 

I added some logs idk if they will be of any help...

First of all, Welcome in here on TruckersMP Forums!  :tmp:

 

 

I am sorry to hear, that you are having a problem with crashing your game. Anyway, lets go to solve your problem, today im going to help you with problem, specifically ,, Fatal Error" 

 

 

Here, I will post some possible solution for your issue: 

 

Solution 1:

Have you tried to verify your game?

> Go to Steam Library
> Right click Euro Truck Simulator 2
> Properties
> Local Files
> Verify Integrity of Game Files

Wait until the game files are verified and try whether the error still occurs.

 

Solution 2:

1. Right click ETS 2 in steam

2. Select 'Launch with OpenGL'

3. Let the game run and try going into game.

4. Exit the game and go back to steam, right click ETS 2 again but this time select 'Launch with DirectX (64-Bit)

5. Again go into game and then exit.

6. Start TruckersMP up and see if the game stops crashing

 

 

If it did not work, then I recommend you re-install TruckersMP Launcher with these steps: 

  • Press the Windows Key + R (Win+R) on your keyboard
  • Enter "%programdata%" and press Enter (without the quotes)
  • Find the folder "TruckersMP" and delete that folder.
  • Go to documents and delete this folders called (ETS2MP, ATSMP) 
  • Navigate to C:\Program Files\ and delete the folder named "TruckersMP Launcher"
  • Go to our website and re-download and install the Launcher with admin privileges https://truckersmp.com/download/
  • Open The Launcher with admin privileges and click "Install Available Updates"

After installing process, please click on TruckersMP Launcher icon on your desktop and launch it as administrator (right click - run as administrator)

Hi There!

 

Based on the error logs you sent, I suggest the following solutions. If these error solutions do not work, it is a problem with your operating system and your computer needs to be format.

 

Solution 1: 

  • Go to Steam Library 
  • Right Click on ETS2 
  • Properties 
  • Local Files
  • Click on verify of in-game files

 

Solution 2:

  •  Press the Windows Key + R (Win+R) on your keyboard
  •  Enter "%programdata%" and press Enter (without the quotes)
  •  Find the folder "TruckersMP", "ETS2MP" and delete that folder.
  •  Navigate to C:\Program Files\ or C:\Program Files (x86)\  and delete the folder named "TruckersMP Launcher"
  •  Go to our website and re-download and install the Launcher with admin privileges 

 

Solution 3:

 

Solution 4:

  • Delete the "save" file you used and create a profile again
