That number is never gonna change unless SCS starts funding its own servers for multiplayer. At that point, SCS will be in direct competition of TMP. Lena' Posted June 11, 2021 Share Posted June 11, 2021 Of course it's not the end I don't support multiplayer that scs has released.How much fun can it be with 8 people, but TruckersMP is an open world platform, you can drive with thousands of people at the same time. Phon Posted June 13, 2021 Share Posted June 13, 2021 The general forecast is that TruckersMP will remain pretty much unaffected. They are two completely separate gamemodes (one is an MMO, and one is local MP) and while they are for the same game, they have completely different aims. Of course some people who don't like trolls and the busy & sometimes unpredictable nature of TMP will move over to Convoy, which is great! But I think TMP will remain mostly unaffected. SCS themselves have praised the TMP project even as recently as during their Convoy live streams, so it is clear that there will be almost no rivalry and that people will just be sensible and pick their preferred mode.
