I'd be surprised if the road between Duisburg and Calais wasn't part of a rework. Depending on how it's changed, it could make players leave or even attract more players. We'll see. If they did though then there'll probably be some other road people will use. Guest Posted May 19, 2021 Share Posted May 19, 2021 My best bet? They are going to make CD a double lane road as IRL this road is an actual 2 lane highway. If you look at a roadmap of Belgium and compare it to SCS, You'll see the E40 from Calais all the way to Bruges, then it kinda keeps going as the E34 towards antwerp, then from Antwerp all the way into Duisburg. Except those are paid expansions and a lot of these trolls don't want to pay. I also took a look at the road on Google Maps. Road before Calais Highway. A bit further down the road. After roundabout, 2 lanes coming towards Calais Highway. 1 going away. River West of Dunkirk. Still the same amount of lanes. East of Dunkirk. If they make it go through this small town, the road is one lane with a central turns. Around the Belgium-France Border. 1 lane each. Assuming the road is following the coast. One lane with a central train line. Assuming this is the part of the road when the left/right turn is forced. 2 lanes each with a median. Assuming we are still on CD Road 2 lanes divided highway. Assuming we are at the right point at Belgium-Netherlands Border. 2 lanes, divided. If this is the CD Road. 3 lanes divided highway. I actually don't know if i was following CD Road on the map.
