ATS and EST2 freezing when exiting the game.

Hello all,

 

It just started happing when exiting both games they will freeze and the only way to fix it is to control, alt, delete. Never happened before.

First of all, Welcome to TruckersMP Forum.

 

Today, i'm going to help you with your problem I'm very glad, I can participate in this topic.

 

There are many solutions about this problem, So I suggest you, try this solutions, which I have posted below one by one.

1. Solution - Please always start TruckersMP as administrator. 

 

2. Solution(same for both games) 

< Go to Steam Library

< Right click on Euro Truck Simulator 2 / American Truck Simulator

< Properties

< Local Files - verify integrity of in-game files.

 

If it did not work, then I highly recommend re-install TMP Launcher 

 

 

3. Solution  - Re-installing TruckersMP Launcher by these steps:

 

1. Press the Windows Key + R (Win+R) on your keyboard

 

2.Enter "%programdata%" and press Enter (without the quotes)

 

3.Find the folder "TruckersMP" and delete that folder.

 

4. Go to documents and delete this folders called (ETS2MP, ATSMP) 

 

5. Navigate to C:\Program Files\ and delete the folder named "TruckersMP Launcher"

 

6. Go to TMP Website and re-download and install the Launcher with admin privileges https://truckersmp.com/download/

 

7. Open The Launcher with admin privileges and click "Install Available Updates"

From my point of view, it looks like your game freezes when you try to tab out or when you close the game.

Does this error appear when you tab out of the game (with Alt-Tab) or when you try to close the game? Do you just have this problem in Multiplayer or in Singleplayer as well? It would be nice if you could answer these questions so that I can better understand your problem. 

 

Back in the days there was an error, when trying to tab out of the game. Maybe you have this problem or another problem.
