Much help required. TruckersMP believes I am on 1.39 (I am not)

Question

I've tried everything I can think of - deleting TMP then installing it again, downgrading down to 1.39 and then back up to 1.40, and I cannot, for the love of God, get this thing away. Please help, would be very much appreciated! ❤️

Much love,

EDIT: I managed to fix it by sheer miracle, so delete the topic or move it (since I cannot delete it)
Thanks still if someone has read it!

Hey there! @[BG-NL] CrazyIvan_

I am very glad, that I can be right here and try to solve your problem together with others!

For correct version you need do update your game.

How to do that?

  1. Go to Steam
  2. Right Click on ETS2
  3. Properties
  4. Betaversion - And then select NONE - the game will update automatically then ?

If it still did not work.

Try to verify in-game files:

< Go to Steam

< Right click on ETS2

< Properties

< Local Files - verify in - game files

< Then start singleplayer with DirectX and play for few minutes.

< Then close it

< Start TruckersMP as administrator and try to Launch it

If it did not work then I recommend you, try  to do clear reinstallation of TMP Launcher with these steps:

  1. Press the Windows Key + R (Win+R) on your keyboard
  2. Enter "%programdata%" and press Enter (without the quotes)
  3. Find the folder "TruckersMP" and delete that folder.
  4. Go to documents and delete this folders called (ETS2MP, ATSMP)
  5. Navigate to C:\Program Files\ and delete the folder named "TruckersMP Launcher"
  6. Go to our website and re-download and install the Launcher with admin privileges https://truckersmp.com/download/
  7. Open The Launcher with admin privileges and click "Install Available Updates"

If it still did not work, then please re-install Euro Truck Simulator 2 from Steam. Do not forget save your profiles from - Documents - Euro Truck Simulator 2 - profiles to your desktop! Then remove this folder, for clear re-installation.

Hey,

RedWolf already give a very good solution for your problem.

First, check your downloads in the Steam library and make sure you have already downloaded the update. (sometimes Steam doesn't start the update automatically) If you haven't downloaded yet, then click download and wait for it to finish. After that, I would play a few minutes in single player to test if everything is working.

You can find the download section at the bottom center of your Steam librar

Here is a picture of it, (you just need to click on it and you will be redirected to the download area):

If this didn't solve your problem, then follow the step of RedWolf.
