Play MP with upgraded version profile?

Hello. 

 

I never played multi-player before and wanted to try it out. The thing is that i need to downgrade my game to play MP (which i did), but i can't play with my main profile because it says it's not compatible with the version im playing with. 

 

Is there a way to play with my main profile on the downgrade version?

Hello @AlphOneJ,

 

in order to play the Multiplayer on the downgraded version you have to select a save that has not yet been played on the version 1.40

Just try scrolling down through the available list of saves until you are able to select one again.

 

 

 

 

If you cannot select any save you sadly have to start a new one to play again.

Once 1.40 gets released for Multiplayer you can then continue playing with your save from the 1.40 version.

Hey there,

 

Just for future reference so it doesn't happen again, I recommend for you to keep two profiles - one for the new game version, and one for TruckersMP when you have to downgrade. This way you can use both game versions without any problems whilst TruckersMP is still working to support the new updates.
