No profile's available

Hi all,

 

I've been having the issue of no profile's being available for me when trying to play online. On rare occasions, after multiple restart of the game the profile will pop-up. 

 

I've tried reinstalling the game, verifying files, reinstalling TruckersMP, moving the Profile folder from steam_profiles to the Document\ETS profile folder directly - Nothing works.

 

I hope any of you can point me towards the solution.

Just as I posted this question, I found one more thing to try; disable the SteamCloud sync for the profile. Which fixed the issue. 

 

Would anyone know why this would cause issues, as having the SteamCloud sync on seems to be default for a profile, thus most users have a SteamCloud profile?

Hello there,

 

It's not really known why sometimes Steam cloud causes issues. My best answer would be to say it is something with the syncing process of the profiles, and when/how they are updated between your local machine and Steam's servers.

 

For now, I'd just keep it off and also do that for any profile you make in the future.
