Hello,

I've seen that when we changing our profile photo, we can use gif files. But the gif is not moving. You can see it by looking my profile photo. How to move it like the gif below?

Hello @[MCG]dogearmy #DogeToMoon

You cannot have a GIF as your profile picture, unless you delete your TruckersMP account (In this case you can customise your profile logo). As long as your TruckersMP account is connected to your forum account it will only have a static profile picture. If you have seen someone with a gif as a profile picture, it means they no longer have a valid TruckersMP account.

I hope this answers any questions you have, and look forward in your response.

Best Regards,

Rico

If I'm not mistaken, you just need to paste the .GIF share link, and it should work just fine.

Also remember that some avatar(photo,GIF) can be breaking the rules

Taken From TMP Rules :

§4.7 - Animations

Blinking or flashing GIFs as avatar or signature are not allowed.

Moving GIFs or animations are allowed.

Hopefully this helps ?

  Hello there,

Here is a Gif to help you change your profile photo (avatar) ! ->https://imgur.com/NmuA5VR

Main account:
Head to https://truckersmp.com/profile/settings

Click on  Edit Profile -> 0bCp5vr.png

Now you have two options, using Gravatar or uploading a file from your PC. I'd recommend doing the second option. It's easier. To do so, check the upload box, click on Choose file and search the picture you want to use.

Forum Account :
Go to your profile and click on this ->https://imgur.com/ZKEqQZc

Follow the procedure explained on the third point of the Main Account instructions.

Also you remember , that some avatar(photo,GIF) can be breaking the rules

Taken From TMP Rules :
Flashing and blinking images/GIFs are not allowed. This type of content can negatively impact on those that suffer from photosensitive epilepsy, who are vulnerable to flashing lights or contrasting light and dark patterns.

Kind Regards,

Hi , your method works fine in your bio or forum posts. However, we can only choose the profile photo from the photos on our device. Profile photos cannot be posted with a link.
