It can only mean one thing, spring has sprung! Even if it may not feel like it, we’ve gone full circle and it is spring once again. Where has the time gone!? All jokes aside, we’re excited to confirm that we’re working with Grimes to support the Spring Graphics/Weather mod for Euro Truck Simulator 2 and, for the first time, American Truck Simulator. In order to use this modification on our servers, there are a few extra steps you need to follow compared to installing mods for singleplayer. Upon the mod creators request, you will have to download this mod from a third-party website. You can find all the information in our knowledge base article here: How to install the Spring Mod? As with the various other Grimes environmental mods, this modification is optional and not required to play on any of our servers. On top of this mod, we will be supporting the Default HDR Bloom add-on created by Grimes. Same as the winter mod, we will not be supporting the Darker Nights add-on. With the addition of spring mod and the removal of winter mod, we will see the mandatory headlight times return to 9pm until 5am in-game time. My favorit feautres: Old textures replaced with higher resolution versions Spring vegetation More flowers I hoped common sense would prevail. It's good that it happened. Even though a new game version was just around the corner, the staff made a bold decision for the benefit for players. So, In the coming weeks(months) players enjoy the drive in the current spring climate in 1.39 while waiting for support 1.40 and Iberia on TruckersMP.
