Hello there!

Thank you for making a topic today, my name is Stubborn__ 🙂

I haven't got personal experience with Steam Big Picture Mode, but from the small things I do know, I think this might solve your problem:

1. Open your Steam library.

2. On the footer area, click on "Add A Game" and then "Add A Non-Steam Game".

3. Choose TruckersMP from the list of programs.

4. From here, it will appear in your Steam library.

5. You might be able to set the big picture mode in the settings from there.

Hopefully this is of some use to you, and if this doesn't work, at least you're able to launch TruckersMP from your Steam library.

Kind Regards,

Stubborn__
