API returned invalid content when running VPN

eversman007

Question

I have suddenly discovered that when connecting to TruckersMP behind a VPN, I get the error: API returned invalid content.
This was not a issue last week, so something must have happened..

I have to use a VPN when running TruckersMP, because when I don't, I get kicked for unreliable connection after my landlord changed the wi-fi network to Google wi-fi..

When I tried using a VPN, I didn't get kicked for unreliable connection, so the issue with not being able to connect using VPN is bothering..

Hello!

I had the same issue but I found a way to "fix" it. Basically connect to various different countries. What I mean by that is:

1. Connect to another country.

2. Launch TMP and try to log in

3. If it gives you an API error close TMP and change the country.

Today it was Sweden that worked for me.

Hope this helps! ?

Thank you, that seems to have done the trick!
Finland worked for me now. Guess I just have to try different countries until one works.

Thanks again! ?
