Guest
I myself like taking back roads at times to break up the travel. You can discover some really cool towns by taking this little back roads.
!CAPITAO!
I agree with you, back roads are a great way to take, it's more interesting than the main highways, the highways in general are very repetitive and exhausting, on the back roads you have to pay more attention to the road, and you discover cool locales which makes the trip more fun. povgamer
Definitely; the backs roads are much more scenic.
ZabbeX
I always follow the route that it's displayed on the navigation, but I always like to drive on back roads because as a comment above said, the main highway are repetitive, specially in the base game map
JustBrankoGaming
I like backroads but I like to drive on them in a convoy, then we are going slower and I can enjoy them more. If I would go there myself when doing a job I would just be speeding trough it. Just hoping that the highways would have some better scenery in the Iberia DLC. WarSniperr
Back roads all the time for me, I just think the motorways/Highways are a bit plain and boring Kind Regards, WarSniperr
partyaap
Yep, totally agree! It's usually on the backroads where you find the beautiful views. Guest
I like going down the back roads as you can see some cool places there unless is the C-D road then I wont go down there at all because I dont like waiting in jam for no reason. But overall I would say the back roads to the way to go.

It certainly makes group travels more interesting and fun
Ruffian
Hey @E.B._DST! Back roads are great to travel on, as I often consider them to be the ‘scenic route’ over the hustle and bustle of major highways; although I don’t mind which road I take just as long as it gets me to where I’m going Report a user | Appeal your ban | Feedback | Rules | Support
sixtytwelve
Taking back roads is way more interesting but if I don't have much time to play I normally just go on motorways as it's normally quicker.
Harley200317
9/10 of the times I will follow the route given to me, but I do like going along the back rounds as there is more scenery to be seen. Current Rank Previous Ranks

I would say it's about the same for me. I often follow the suggested road (unless it sends me on a ferry). From time to time I just edit the route a little to go on a backroad if I haven't discovered it yet. |
Wraith645
I tend to get bored of highways just being at 110 all the time, so I usually take the backroads when I can to discover more.
Error_
On basic game (incl. DLCs) mainly (but not only) on the highways, but on Promods just sticking to the back roads. It also make a difference how am I going, because don't really like to stop and leave the game in the middle of the trip. Oh no. You just meet a Eror. ------------------------------

-Elvis-
Backroads all day everyday . They are also fantastic for community Events like VTC convoys get to some amazing views & scenery You won't find many in base map though that's why its so needed to have all DLC's for the ultimate experience

[XORA] CODEYX
Back Roads, because they are more scenic and sometimes more challenging. Kye.
I would definitely say back roads are highly more interesting to drive along, the routes might be longer yes, but the views on the majority of them are amazing. - Ky_James✌
