Hi again folks

 

So ETS2 updated (1.7gb) is this just the Chinese New Year paintjobs or something else as well.  I am guessing i am asking in the wrong place and probably should be asking in Help but it is to do with ETS2

Yes, I believe this update is due to the Lunar New Year paintjobs.

If you missed the stream SCS Software did earlier, they have given the DLC to the owners of the Chinese paint jobs DLC for free (only if you owned the Chinese paint jobs DLC before the release of this new DLC).

 

As a side note, all of the Lunar New Year related paintjobs were moved to the new DLC, so the Chinese paint jobs DLC won't need to include them, so this is the reason for the large file size, as you will download both the new DLC and the update for the Chinese paint jobs DLC.

Hello there,

The reason for such a large download size is the huge file of the new paint jobs DLC: Lunar New Year Pack:

 

Chinese Paint Jobs Pack is much smaller now: 56.91 MiB (before 350.10 MiB).

 

 

ps. For comparison, other paint job DLC so far:

Space Paint Jobs Pack 243.55 MiB

Force of Nature Paint Jobs 212.07 MiB
