profile not loading in truckersmp

My single player profile doesnt load into truckersmp unless I launch the single player game first, quit out, then launch truckers mp, also my custom truck skins dont appear in the mod manager when using truckers mp, my ets2 game and mods are on a different hard drive to my c: drive as my c: drive is only 64gb SSD - any help would be appreciated!

First of all, i would like to welcome you to the forum, and we are happy to give you an helpfull answer ! 

If I understand your problem, and to sum up simply, you have a backup modded on ETS2 solo client and it don't appears into TMP after you loged-in ..

 

To begin with, I want to inform you that TMP (truckersmp) does not take into account the mods, indeed.

You will see why mods are not supported.

I can understand your disappointment about mods, but it still makes sense.

 

This would mean that TMP development team should ensure that each mod present is compatible with each player.

Simply put, every player who doesn't have the mods would have to be able to see them, but without using them, or adjust the texture bugs that might cause, and it would be a long and tedious job.

 

It's almost impossible to achieve.

 

I think that this is the reason why mods are not allowed in TMP
Exept the winter mod.

Secondly, regarding the fact that TMP does not load your profile I recommend several solutions.

 

Solution 1:

• Launch ETS2 solo.
• Turn off all your mods.
• Turn on the cloud backup.
• Start your game.
• Go to a secure place.
• Save your game and try again.

 

Solution 2:

• If the first part didn't work ..
• Uninstall ETS2 and TMP.
• Then install them again, first ETS2 launch it and close it, then TMP by giving the correct location of ETS2 game into your steam folder..
  (C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Euro Truck Simulator 2) (this is for me, if steam is locate in an other disk, please change it) 
• Be careful to copy paste your backup to your desktop if it's not synced with the cloud.

 

Solution 3:

• If the problem persists..
• Contact the support by following the process below ..
• Read this article : How to open a Support Ticket

 

Solution 4:

• If you don't mind starting a game over again..
• Created a game directly with truckersmp
• Then think to activate the cloud instead of save your game into cloud and not into game files
• Then you can think of catching up with your money, and your levels thanks to some well-known tricks that you can find on youtube.

Try to create a profile in which there are no modified vehicles

Unfortunately TruckersMP does not support mods so there is no way to play with them.

Officially TruckersMP supports

• Promods 2.51
• Promods Canada
• Winter mod

Any other modifications are not allowed

Ahh thats a shame that mods aren't supported, i really only wanted to use my custom truck skin, but yes I can understand why mods aren't supported. Thankyou for the responses.
