Inthernet Posted November 13, 2014 Report Posted November 13, 2014 With the AFK kicker being re-enabled, what is the time limit of being AFK?
0 Vedriel Posted November 13, 2014 Report Posted November 13, 2014 I don't know, but yesterday i was kicked after entering MP. P.S. My ping is max 50 ms.
0 StuartD Posted November 13, 2014 Report Posted November 13, 2014 Before it was removed I think it was 5 minutes of not moving will have you kicked. I don't know, but yesterday i was kicked after entering MP. P.S. My ping is max 50 ms. It takes any slight change in your ping from 50 to 600+ and you will be kicked. Literally for a millisecond. 0 Mari' Posted November 13, 2014 Report Posted November 13, 2014 so if one is making changes in the game options or are managing your company and take more than 5 minutes will kick?
0 MajorKowallsky Posted November 13, 2014 Report Posted November 13, 2014 Maybe, but I hope that the kick will be "how-many-player-are-on-server" based. W internecie nie ma ludzi starszych i młodszych, W internecie są ludzie głupsi i mądrzejsi Retired Team Member since 01.02.2020 WarMaz
0 prox Posted November 13, 2014 Report Posted November 13, 2014 i wonder how the afk-kick-rule will affect CCTV
0 Madd13 Posted November 13, 2014 Report Posted November 13, 2014 Simple, make Kat a user with AFK exempt permission, like Admins. Every day is a school day.
0 Jack_NL Posted November 13, 2014 Report Posted November 13, 2014 I hope they make it not working when on a parkingplace at a reststop or parked at a gasstation etc that would really a shame and not at all a truck sim as they want it to be CPU: i5 11600K @ 4.0 GHZ | RAM: G.Skill 16GB | GPU: RTX 2070 Super Wheel: TM T500 + TM 28GT | Shifter: TM TH8RS | Pedals: Fanatec CSR Elite | VR: Oculus rift ̶D̶K̶2̶ .. 0 teiubescmicutzamea Posted November 13, 2014 Report Posted November 13, 2014 I think like it say is "AFK on road" not in to a parking place where is no collision zone. Please ask an admin for that. Sorry about my bad language, I don't speak werry good english, so I hope you can understand what I mean to say!

0 xDope Posted November 15, 2014 Report Posted November 15, 2014 I really think there is no need for the AFK kick rule; only if the server needs slots it should kick people that were inactive for ~10-15 minutes. 1
0 (GER)easyrider18 Posted November 15, 2014 Report Posted November 15, 2014 AFK on the road is only when he block a little bit the road! 1
0 xDope Posted November 15, 2014 Report Posted November 15, 2014 ^ Then that is perfectly fine; I support it.

0 Serbian Posted November 18, 2014 Report Posted November 18, 2014 I really think there is no need for the AFK kick rule; only if the server needs slots it should kick people that were inactive for ~10-15 minutes. Without it the roads would become a mess, you'd pretty much need admins online 24/7.
0 Enterprise1701 Posted November 18, 2014 Report Posted November 18, 2014 So, if i understand it correctly, you will only being kicked if you are blocking the road for other truckers?
0 JamesGalbraith Posted November 21, 2014 Report Posted November 21, 2014 Some clarification is needed on where it operates, as large convoys regularly stand for long periods. How about a message with a timer that ticks down for 10 minutes after being inactive for 5? Then anyone who hasn't moved for 15 mins gets kicked. Please also ensure that simple things like switching lights on, parking brake etc cancel it as otherwise things like truckfest will be a constant orchestra of trucks moving forward then back in the parking spaces.
0 RussellakaBigTruckerUk1 Posted November 22, 2014 Report Posted November 22, 2014 if belive if you wanna go afk, save your game then just simply reload when you join again if you have been kicked OLD SCHOOL VETERAN RESIGNED IN GAME ADMIN TMP ID 25
