Eurotruck2.exe file missing

Hey, I just bought and installed ETS2 on my brothers Computer via steam, and I cant find the eurotrucks2.exe file so I can´t install the MP version. Ergo we cant play together. Anyone know the answer to my problem?

It'll most likely be here:

 

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Euro Truck Simulator 2\bin

 

But if not, head to Steam > Library (Games) > Right click Euro Truck Simulator 2 > Properties > Local files tab > Browse local files > bin.

Yeah I forgot to say that, I tried that and I still didn't find it!

The MP mod just needs to be installed into the steam folder and you use the MP shortcut to start the game.

I were trying to re-install ETS2 and now after its installed on steam, I just get up the "install" button and not the "play" button. This is just getting bigger and bigger! Trying to restart the PC and see. Have a bad feeling!

Yeah first thing I did try! It didn't help restarting the PC! But why will it not be installed on the computer? After its finished installing I can only press install again! Restarted steam and pc!

Try to unistall both of the ETS2 and Multiplayer and then put the installation folders into the exception of your anti-virus and install them again hope that helps

As stated above, Uninstall Euro Truck Simulator 2 and the Multiplayer mod through control panel and reinstall. The newly installed Euro Truck Sim 2 should have the file Eurotrucks2.exe

 

I'm not sure if this is a Single Player issue or Multiplayer issue. If you can provide us with more information that would be great!

This is your antivirus delete the file !!

 

What your antivirus ?

 

Please try to disable and reinstall the game. If the file not lost, is your antivirus (Avast 1st of bad).

Hey again, I got the McAfee or what its called, but its expired years ago Its an singleplayer and multiplayer issue, because on steam I can't press play only install. And after its "installed" I can only install it again.
