Game Crash - No apparent reason?

Flixmo

Question

Evening all,

This isn't my profile but it was brought to my attention and after trying many things I've failed to get this to post past the initial loading screen . From what I know it started crashing after the individual started using ProMods and even after removing ProMods it's still crashing.

He has 2 local mods on however I can't tell if this is the issue or not.

Attached is his game log for his own save.

Any responses appreciated!

Flixmo.

Solution 1:
> Press the Windows Key + R (Win+R) on your keyboard
> Enter "%programdata%" and press Enter (without the quotes)
> Find the folder "TruckersMP" and delete that folder.
> Navigate to C:\Program Files\ and delete the folder named "TruckersMP Launcher''
> Go to our website and re-download and install the Launcher with admin privileges https://truckersmp.com/download/

Solution 2:
You should start TruckersMP as an admin. This is really important.
Also, try to start TruckersMP with DirectX (64)
> Go to your steam App
> Go to the library
> Go to ETS2/ATS
> Click "Play"
> Choose "Launch with DirectX (64-bit). Make sure you chose 64 bit.
> Start ETS2/ATS
> Choose your profile and press "drive"
> Close ETS2/ATS
> Start TruckersMP as admin. TruckersMP will start with DirectX for all time. Except you change it again.

Solution 3:
> Update your graphics card driver.
> Take care not to play in busy areas.
> Pull down your graphics settings.
> You maybe need a new profile, delete old and get a new one.
> Reinstall the mod and make sure that you put correctly in the directory. (\Steam\SteamApps\common\Euro Truck Simulator 2)
> Don't use unsupported mods. Also, too many mods can cause your game to crash.
> Delete file Documents/ETSMP (Please before deleting,backup this file)
> That's may be caused by missing game file. Go to Steam Library / Right click Euro Truck Simulator 2 / Properties / Local Files / Verify Integrity of Game Files.
> Make sure you have the latest.Net Framework (4.7) & DirectX & Microsoft Visual C++ 2015 and use CCleaner to remove temporary files and obsolete registry paths.

Hello @[VIVA] Flixmo,

Local Mods do not work in Pro Mods, like in Sim1 or any other server.

There is actually another methode, how you can do that.

Here is a Video how it is done: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ffbvA8-yJGM&ab_channel=Beanz

Hope I could help you.

King Regards,

Hello.

The first thing you should do is deactivate all the local mods that you have active in your profile, after that, access promods, if the problem persists, try another profile that does not have local mods.

I hope this comment is helpful to you.

Sincerely,
JuanCamilo25 [COL]

Hi @[VIVA] Flixmo

You must relocate your local mods with save editing. If you open any game.sii file with SII_Decrypt.exe ;

1- find mail_ctrl and delete inbox content (don't delete _nameless) and accessory,flare data which are from local mods (he has 2 mod)

2- find bus_job line and add to local mods content like as mail_ctrl

bus_job_log : _nameless.241.386e.8870 {
 version: 0
 entries: 1
 entries[0]: sca_2
}

accessory_hookup_data : sca_2 {
 model: "/home/mod4/sca_2/slot_0.pmd"
 coll: ""
 look: default
 variant: default
 electric_type: aux_light
 name: ""
 icon: ""
 info: 0
 price: 0
 unlock: 0
 suitable_for: 0
 conflict_with: 0
 defaults: 0
 overrides: 0
 require: 0
 steam_inventory_id: nil
}

} (don't delete this)

3- save game.sii file and copy/paste in autosave

4- try to play profile with promods
