Madmex NL
Soon you can choose whether you want to drive with or without a Winter mod. Isn't it more convenient that it is standard that everyone drives with winter mod during the winter period. If not, it is no better that those who use winter mod than put TAG snow by their name so that everyone knows who uses winter mod. Because there will of course be more collisions and then it is more convenient to see if someone uses a winter mod.
AloneWolf.
Players using winter mode should drive more carefully, if people using winter mode go according to the rules, there will be no problems.
FernandoCR [ESP]
Adding to what AloneWolf said, the Winter mod by itself changes nothing other than the scenery and the day/night cycle of the game. It's the Physics add-on that makes the roads more dangerous and you can't simply make it a default for everyone. There are many players that can barely control their trucks in optimal weather/road conditions, forcing them to play on a low visibility and slippery road would be insane, IMO. Granite [SVK]
Last year, I had to uninstall winter mod due to many graphical glitches and the strain it puts on my poor eyes. And the ATS version made Nevada desert look like alien planet.

Players with bad computer can play on simulation 2 and arcade servers players should not use this mode if they cannot control their vehicles. FernandoCR [ESP]
I said barely. Players with top of the line computers can be as bad or even worse at driving than players with potato PCs, everyone is free to choose which server they want to play in, that's why these seasonal mods are optional. TMP could, maybe, open a separate server, like Promods, but with the Winter mod and physics add-on enabled for everyone, but leaving the current servers as they are.
