Matt #CarLadMatt Posted November 9, 2020 Report Posted November 9, 2020 Greetings! We have another Official Convoy planned, which means it's time for all of us to come together once again for another event! For this months installment we’ve decided to take you on a journey on the roads in the heart of the beautiful DLC of Idaho in American Truck Simulator, discovering the beautiful winding roads with your Heavy Haul Trailers and taking in some of the scenery along the way! Join us on Saturday 14th November 2020 at 18:00 UTC (Alternative Timezones)! This month we are doing a Heavy Haul Convoy, where all Heavy Haul Trailers are welcome to attend. Let's see your skills driving our route.! Starting our journey in Idaho Falls in Idaho, taking some very scenic roads heading west, then north towards, Boise, Grangeville & Coeur d'Alene before reaching the destination which is Sandpoint. We will be discovering some of the country routes in the heart of the Idaho DLC map. As this convoy is only in Idaho DLC, meaning you are required this DLC for you to take part in this event. The convoy duration is estimated to be 90 minutes. It will be longer if you are towards the rear of the convoy. No breaks are scheduled, but you are welcome to pull into a safe place should you require a rest. Please feel welcome to comment or ask questions on our forum topic! Route Departure: Idaho Falls. Destination: Sandpoint. [NT-CRC] jorensanbar Posted November 10, 2020 Report Posted November 10, 2020 ¡WOW! So, downgrade to 1.38 is not necessary? ¡Thank you! Jorge Sandi jorensanbar Nova Transports CEO https://novatransports.com

Hey @[NT-CRC] jorensanbar, You will unfortunately still need to downgrade to American Truck Simulator v1.38 to participate in this convoy. TruckersMP does not yet support version 1.39 - and will not support it by the time this convoy takes place. Sorry for any confusion! 1

Google Drive Posted November 14, 2020 Report Posted November 14, 2020 Why do such events take place if the current version is not yet supported? Why not plan something like that when the latest version is compatible with multiplayer?

If TMP would do events only when it would support to the latest version there would be almost no events especially when we have to wait longer for support in the last time.
nick_g_2020 Posted November 14, 2020 Report Posted November 14, 2020 I created a support ticket yesterday, asking to help since I downgraded and it doesn't recognize it. I put High Priority on it because I was going to attend this until I checked and there was no response on my ticket and I can just say right now that I'm probably not going to be able to make it.
Unnamed User Posted November 14, 2020 Report Posted November 14, 2020 Thanks for the event! It was great! Somehow I could use my horn even with 80 players near me.
MarkON Posted November 14, 2020 Report Posted November 14, 2020 Thank you for the Heavy Haul Convoy I have been pleasantly surprised because the participants were great with the heavy trailers. So, good organization, event was quite smooth. ps. First, I drove a Volvo VNL but the sounds were dramatic (even with a few players). I changed the truck to a new Western Star 49X and regardless of the number of people all were fine. Official stream: Heavy Haul Convoy - 14 November 2020 Players online: Spoiler See you at the next convoy
