  1. Hey all! I have basically just started playing TMP this weekend but I realized some little things that I would love to share here. Since I am quite new and although I have checked if any of these things have already been suggested I hope you will excuse if any of these things are not new. To start things off: You guys did an amazing job here! Gameplay is pretty smooth and so many features have been implemented so the game becomes real fun! But, as many else complain about, some players (especially on Server Europe 2) drive like this was GTA online and not a simulation. The ban system appears somewhat awkward at first, but it is totally understandable when you consider that this is just a mod for a single player game. However, I think that it could bve smoothed a lot. If you are driving between Calais and Duisburg it is very hard to gather the information needed since there are just so many people around it is hard to spot the one guy's name who just crashed into others with 120 kph. Also, it doesn't really help the guy who has just been subject to this malicious behavior. That is why I started some of my braincells up there and came up with an idea. You want to be able to enable "law enforcement" ingame and have the accused be able to appeal the ban/wrongdoing. Also, it would be really nice if mods were able to do this job ingame with police cars - just for the feels of it. Since Skoda Police Skins are only admitted to mods and admins anyway you already have the means at hand and installed in the mod. However, I never actually saw any police driving about and doing stuff. I have watched a mod on twitch and how he watched and decided upon reports. Seemed to be a lot of work! So, why not enable mods to ban people insantly on servers ingame? I know that this means to implement new features, but I think I have a few ideas to make this as simple as possible. - make up a new database on each server that saves the id of any driver logging onto the server. This db will only be used for rule enforcement. - every wrong doing or malicious driving will earn you a point. This point and the servertime of it will be saved in the db - Every point will be deleted after a certain ingame play time. - after 5 points you will be banned for let's say three days - driving through red street signals is punished by the game, but this could be used as well: every fine ingame could be send to the db as well, giving one point to the player - give mods and admins the right to type new in-chat commands like /xxx with xxx being the number/id of the player so he will get a warning instantly. Also, this may be combined with windows new video system: the last minute before entering the command will be saved as video automatically. I think a system like this should be implementable without putting too much effort into it. Also, new personnel could be acquired fairly easily and all bans / points still are appealable. And it would be awesome to finally have some police on the road. xD Oh, and please don't recommend a freeroam server. I don't like that idea very much. Which brings me to the next point. Someone wrote in some other thread that implementing new rules and stuff would be somewhat harmful to the gaming experience since the role-play aspects of the game come intpo full effect depending on the actions of every player. I totally agree with that and just because I think more and better measures should be taken against some of those kiddos out there, doesn't necessarily mean that this is considered correct in the eyes of the majority. I therefore think it might be a great idea to implement several "layers" of rules on different servers. I wish there was one server without some of those people who are mostly playing on Europe 2. But these guys are basically on every other server as well. And I would love to drive with people who drive seriously! One server as a save haven for drivers like me would be more than enough. You can leave Europe 2 as it is, but maybe implement one server where rules are stricter and consequences are harder. And there is one last thing that I would like to suggest here: please implement npc cars like in sp. Yesterday i nearly fell asleep while driving in southern France for like an hour without seeing ANYone. However, I am aware that this is tricky and I have no good idea on how implementing that would be possible without putting too much stress on the servers. I don't need like many cars, but just one or two once in a while would be awesome, like let's say 1 - 5 % of vanilla spawn rate. Thx and save driving!
  2. Sveiki vairuotojai! 3. Suggestion name: Update in-game rules Suggestion description: Add in to in-game rules, that religious content isn't allowed in username. Any example images: - Why it should be added?: People are getting banned for having religious content in their usernames. You need to have a rule that it's not allowed before you can ban anyone. It's simply how justice works. For example "Allahu akbar" is a phrase ISIS organization uses, but it is also used by people who don't support ISIS and have Islam as a religion. If you want multiplayer to be neutral, go ahead and tell us. It's small thing to add in to the rules. I'm not saying anything that isn't exactly mentioned in the rules is allowed. I'm just saying this one is a thing that needs to mentioned in the rules, because it would make sure there won't be any misunderstandings. Read it all before replying so I don't need to quote myself, thanks. Because of various problems, I decided to end this suggestion's life. Just to clarify, I'm not a racist. Everyone can believe in whatever they want, Jesus, Santa Claus, Big foot, Allah, Buddhism etc. and express that... My point is that would I get banned for having "God is great" in my username like someone would get banned for "Allahu akbar". Probably not. I was trying to tell this should be equal for everyone. This is the topic what triggered me to make this suggestion: https://forum.ets2mp.com/index.php?/topic/24614-ban-appeal/ So no need to hunt me down you 'furious' religious people and moderators... You may burn this down. (or reject, it's up to you. Burning down would be cool though. Then spread the ashes in to the server building. Dunno, if you can do that. I would appreciate it.)
  4. Suggestion Name: Same as title. Suggestion Description: Danish translation of updated rules. Any example images: Why should it be added?: The official rules were updated today by Clarkinator, so I updated the danish translation of the rules once again. Direct link to the danish rules: https://forum.truckersmp.com/index.php?/topic/6500-in-game-rules-dk-officielle-in-game-regler-19-06-2016/ Open the spoiler-tag to see the updated translated rules:
  5. Suggestion Name: Same as title. Suggestion Description: I haven't been around for some time, so the danish rules haven't gotten a much needed update in a while. @xw :) doesn't seem to roam the forums anymore either, so I doubt he will be updating them much anymore either. Any example images: Why should it be added?: Because a handful of rules were added or updated since the last time the danish rules were updated, and the formatting of the danish rules-thread also seemed a bit weird, so I fixed that up. Just open the spoiler-tag and you'll see. Direct link to the danish rules: https://forum.truckersmp.com/index.php?/topic/6500-in-game-rules-dk-officielle-in-game-regler-14-03-2016/
  6. Suggestion Name: Same as title.Suggestion Description: I noticed that the danish in-game rules haven't been updated in a while, so it was missing quite a few things. I decided to add all of the missing parts, and make a couple of adjustments to the translation that @xw :) had done.Any example images: Why should it be added?: Because it was missing a handful of newly added parts. The new and updated version of the danish translation is inside the spoiler-tags: EDIT: I realized that I might have just unintentionally notified quite a few users, as I added name-tags in the updated version, instead of hyperlinked names. Sorry about that.
