Hello everyone, today I would like to share this little summary with you. I have made this mainly for new ETS2MP drivers, I hope this will be useful. ? What do you have to know as a (beginning) ETS2MP user? 1. You need to know and understand the TruckersMP official rules, which are listed here: https://truckersmp.com/rules 2. You need to know and you will have to follow, the TruckersMP discord rules, these can be found in the official discord server, in the channel: "#rules" or at the following website: https://truckersmp.com/knowledge-base/article/442 3. If you would like to have the "user" role in the official discord server then you can follow the steps below: 3.1 Create an account on the TruckersMP website: https://truckersmp.com/index.php/auth/register 3.2 Head over to the channel: "#connect-truckersmp" in the discord server and complete the steps * Note: If you have got the "user" role, you also will have access to a specific channel called "#roles", in which you can select all the roles you want, such as: "Dutch" and "VTC". By selecting a flag of a country, you will gain access to that specific (chosen) language channel. 4. If you are having any troubles/problems, with TruckersMP related topics, you have four (4) options to ask for help, which you can find below: 4.1 You can head over to the support channel in the official discord server of TruckersMP, keep in mind that in this channel exclusively English can be spoken. 4.2 Another option is to create a support ticket, via the TruckersMP website: https://truckersmp.com/support/tickets, For more information about the use of the support system, please have a look at the following website: https://truckersmp.com/knowledge-base/article/21 4.3 If you can not express yourself in English, then you can send a DM (=direct message) in your native language to @ModMail (discord bot). 4.4 A fourth option is to ask for help in the help sections on the forum: https://forum.truckersmp.com/ 5. If you see someone, who's violating the rules in a server , you have two (2) options to report it: 5.1 In-game via the tab menu: https://truckersmp.com/knowledge-base/article/791 5.2 Via the report system on the TruckersMP website: https://truckersmp.com/knowledge-base/article/8 * Note: A staff member cannot be reported via the report system, to report a staff member you will have to create a feedback ticket, here: https://truckersmp.com/feedback. If you would like to have more information about a VTC, have a look below: 6.1 What is a VTC? + How to apply? --> https://truckersmp.com/knowledge-base/article/328 6.2 How to create a VTC? --> https://truckersmp.com/knowledge-base/article/327 * Note: Being in the same VTC with anyone else, doesn't mean that you will have the same cargoes, deliveries, destinations, trucks or money. * Note: If you want to apply for a VTC, make sure that: 1. You are logged in; 2. You meet all the requirements of that specific VTC; 3. The recruitment is open. 7. In the simulations, you can find two (2) different speed limits: 7.1 If you are doing an external contract (World of trucks related) --> The speed of your truck is limited to 90 km/h 7.2 If you are doing a freight market / cargo market / quick job contract --> The speed of your truck is limited to 110km/h * Note: Make sure that you have disabled the speed limiter of your truck, if you wish to drive faster than 90 km/h in a contract (except the external ones). 8. How to disable the speed limiter? 8.1 You will have to unbox the "truck speed limiter" in your settings ( Settings > Gameplay > Truck speed limiter ) 8.2 You will have to unbox the "speed limiter" in the TAB settings ( TAB > Sprocket > speed limiter ) * Note: If the menu doesn't pop up when you press TAB, then first press F11 and try it again. 9. How to change your player/in-game tag or tag color? 9.1 You can change your tag by doing: TAB > Right Mouse Click > Sprocket > Player tag 10. Hi there, I know when I was new it took me a while to get find this out so I hope this helps people... ------------------------------------------Key Bindings specific to multiplayer----------------------------------------------- Open Chat = 'Y' Toggle Chat = 'F9' Toggle Name Tags = 'F11' Show Nearby players list = 'Tab' Push-to-Talk = 'V' Changed to 'X' now if you have the most current version *to use the mouse whilst the tab menu is open right click* -----------------------------------------Using the Tab Menu--------------------------------------- To open or close just press the tab button. When you open the tab menu you see a list of the players that are near by. Along the bottom there is a cog, this is the setting button. You can click on here and it brings lots of options. For example here you can set your unique player tag and the colour of it. There is also lots of options that are specific to the Multiplayer function of the game. *Note Player Tags Remain across game sessions* Any changes that are made on the settings menu must be completed by you clicking the apply button then the 'Ok' Button. When setting a Player Tag you are not permitted to set it to something that implies you are a member of staff, e.g. Admin or Police etc. This may result in In-Game-Moderators taking action how they see fit. The rules say: Impersonating Administration - Ban It is forbidden to impersonate administration or act as law enforcement such as police. This includes tags, username, paintjobs, lights, etc that would indicate you are behaving as an administrator. ------------------------------Near by Players list-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This is the main feature on the Tab menu. There is lots of information displayed on this page. From left to right the information is: ID Number specific to that gaming session (it is assigned as the number of player from the slots available on the server) | The Player's Username | The players ping | The Players distance from you | --------------------------------Functions on the Players list---------------------------------------------------------------------------- To open a players profile: simply click on their name You then have the option along the bottom of the window to either open their steam or truckers profile To Report a player: Click on their name At the bottom a button labelled 'Report' appears. Click it Select the reason and submit it. Reports must be legitimate and should not be made out of revenge. If the case is serious you may wish to take your own evidence. The Rules Say: Chat and Report Spamming - Kick / Ban Spamming the use of commands both to other users and commands as a whole or anything similar. ---------------------------------------------Using Voice Chat------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The Multiplayer function allows players to communicate in-game using the voice chat function. This works on a push to talk basis by pressing the 'V' key. For the duration the key is pressed your voice is transmitted. This will transmit your voice onto people who are on the same CB radio frequency as you and who are near by. To change your radio frequency, in first person locate your radio stack. In trucks it is generally above your head, in cars it's on your dash board. To change the frequency look enable your mouse by pressing 'Tab' then 'Right Clicking' Click on the stack around the place where the largest knob is. It might take a few attempts. This will cycle through the available frequencies you can broadcast on. As with the in-game test chat there is rules to follow. No spamming, use of profanity or playing of music. This may result in a ban by an in-game moderator. ------------------Using Text Chat--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- To open the chat just press 'Y' Then a chat window appears on the left of your screen. Simply type and your message will be entered. Then Press 'Enter' to send your message. This message is sent to anyone Spamming in chat is against the game rules To send a Private Message (PM) Open the chat window as normal by pressing 'Y'. then type '/pm' (don't input the inverted commas) Then press 'space' and enter the ID code of the player you wish to PM. (The ID code is shown as the number above the players truck or the number on the left in the Tab Menu.) Then press space again and type your message. To send press 'Enter' If you did this process wrong then a red message is displayed. All Personal messages are in white. Example of a personal message: /pm 1234 I learnt how to do this on TruckersMP Forum Please remember that all chat messages must follow the rules set forward by the moderators, swearing at and insulting players is not tolerated, at any degree, and is a banable offence. Taking from the rules: Profanity - Kick / Ban Swearing or using any words that may be deemed inappropriate or anything similar. Insulting Users / Insulting Administration - Temporary / Permanent Ban Swearing or using any words that may be deemed inappropriate towards other users or administration or anything similar. -------------------------------------------------------------Ending------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ I hope this helps all new users to get on their way towards integrating into the Multiplayer community much quicker and easier. Hello, 11 days ago I created a feedback ticket to get VTC VALIDATION. I was asking some owners of other VTC's after what time they got their validation. Answers was about 4-7 days. Is there a problems or a big traffic right now with VTC's? Or a response deadzone? Or maybe my ticket is hidden? I'm waiting, but I just want to make sure someone will answer it. Hey, I was playing a lot in singleplayer with a lot of mods. Do I have to remove all my mods from Document/Euro Truck Simulator 2/mod folder before joining TruckersMP servers or can I keep it without removing anything? I'm asking because I dont want a situations where I get banned or soemthing like this

My game has no sound, all settings are default, and there is no sound when reinstalled

I recently saw someone driving around with a single axle flatbed trailer. From what ive seen in the game you can only have single axle curtainsider, dry freighter, insulated and refrigirated trailers and im wondering how they did it. I tried to change my trailers chassis type in the save files to no succes.

I can't join ANY multiplayer server. When I try to join, I get this error message. I tried to re-install TruckersMP, updating ETS2... Nothing. What should I do? PS. I don't have any bans on my acc. Thanks

There's already a guide on how to use the Skoda in single player, but is it possible to use alternating vehicles? If so, I wonder what files should one add from the TMP mod folder to the local mod folder. Thank you very much

Ahoy hoy! New around here, so not quite sure what's what. Since I prefer to take more scenic routes I haul through the infamous Duisburg / Calais stretch sometimes. Earlier today I got called out when I was almost stuck (With the 61t train cargo) at the ramp after Duisburg, since I lost momentum after someone cut ahead of me before the corner. Ended up traversing at roughly 2 km/h. While the whole ordeal only lasted a painful half minute at full throttle, it did create a bit of a jam. So to my queston: Is being too slow an actually punishable offense? P.s. For reference, I am driving a 540HP Volvo FH with the 8 wheel chassis and 12+2 gear. Regards, Vaughn

Hey there , recently i updated ETS2 and since then there has been no audio in game whatsover . I have tried removing all my mods , updating drivers and veryfing intergretity of files and nothing seems to work . However , if i downgrade to any older version , it restores audio but then I can't play truckersmp . Does anyone know a fix?

Buenas, me he descargado el Euro Truck Simulator 2 que ya lo tenía de hace tiempo y ya jugué al TruckersMp con un amigo, pero me cambié de pc y ahora al querer jugar en este pc me sale el error de la imagen añadida. Ahora al querer volver a jugar, le doy a iniciar TruckersMp y me sale el error que sale en la imagen añadida. Ya he probado muchas cosas para solucionarlo y sigo con el mismo error. Espero una respuesta, gracias.

So I installed the Winter mod a while ago, and I thought I deleted it. I don't know if I missed something when I was removing it, or if this snow-like dots are part of the server right now until winter is over. Anyways, if not, I need help finding the files from the Winter mod to remove it.

I have been wondering if it was possible to use SiSl's mod in TruckersMP. I have tried adding it to the ETS2MP mod folder where you can also add the popular winter mod, and it failed! I am doing it because its free instead of the cabin accessories DLC. I could not find any tutorials online that had any simularity of the topic. Does anyone of you have any clues? Please reply? Hello, Yesterday I created a ticket that was showing steam error when i tried to open both ETS or TMP (ticket is here) I tried verifying game files from given answers but with no result. ETS is still displaying launch error as before. Is there another solution to fix it? I didn’t played ETS for more than 2 days and im devastated ? Thanks for further replies.

Hello, Today i wanted to launch ETS when Launcher gave me an error which says that it can’t find steam_emu.ini. I also noticed that launcher is pointing to my FH5 location, which is repack wit online fix from CODEX. I tried reinstalling TMP, but with no results. Is there a solution: Thanks MakoPog UPDATE Ok, I just pasted the steam_emu.ini to location that TMP is pointing, now I dont have that message anymore, but app. error showed up. (btw i cant run both TMP and ETS)
