Hello, My old post is put in the trash by the admins which is quite sad as many people appreciated this post. As I see a lot of people who seem to be unable to drive respectful and careful, I wrote this little guide to explain how to drive. I know that the most trolls and idiots won't see this thread and most of you already know what I will write. That's why it's so important that you share this with all the people who need this guide. I still hope that the Admins also notice how important this is for our game experience and that they will include these rules in the in-game rules at least as recommendation to make this more public. General information: Do not use your airhorn for every tiny little ****. It should only be used in dangerous situations for you or others. Of course you can greet your friends, but please not to greet every truck you see. The most stupid thing I have ever seen are people overtaking on the left or right during a traffic jam. Guys, it doesnt make ANY sense! I don't know whats going on in your mind. There is a reason why you get in a traffic jam and when you try to get to the beginning of this jam you still have to wait there. And when you drive on the opposite lane you only endanger the oncoming traffic and it makes everything worse than it already is. This is especially for the traffic jams at Europoort. When a lane ends the in Germany so called zipper procedure applies. If they have to slow down because of you, wait for them. If you see somebody wanting to join the road and he can pull out fast enough in front of you flash your high beams or light horn to let him know that you are giving way. This is very useful on country roads and also sometimes in the city, when there are no signs or traffic lights. Thanks to xOceanSpirit for this tip. You should keep a distance to the preceeding vehicle of at least the half of the speed in metres. For example if you are driving with 80km/h you should have a distance of at least 40 metres. But I always recommend to have a higher distance as the synchronization is buggy sometimes and trucks might stop isntantly and then you have no time to react. Behaviour in the city In most cities the speed limit is 50 km/h, sometimes also just 30 km/h. These speed restrictions are not there for fun, so please drive as you are supposed to If there is NO sign indicating priority for YOU, you always have to give way to everybody who comes from the right. Only if there are signs or a traffic light indicating priority, you may drive before the others. But this needs YOU to respect these signs and to drive according to these signs otherwise it doesn't make any sense. When leaving a company it's a bit different. As companies are private grounds everybody who leaves a company must give way to all cars on the street. If you want to enter a company and somebody is about to leave it, it makes sense to give way to him that everybody has enough space to avoid any crashes. This should be clear but also use your indicators to indicate your direction you are driving to. At crossings also try not to cut the way of others Behavior on country roads Drive according to the speed limit! This should make sense... Many people just fall over because they think they can drive with 110 km/h on a country road. Do NOT overtake when it is not allowed. When overtaking is not allowed it is mostly because you cant look far enough to see the way you need to overtake. If overtaking is not allowed you see that on a sign (see section "Traffic signs", second picture) or when the lane markings are continuous like below: http://www.fahrtipps.de/img/vz/40p/295.gif When you see somebody overtaking you, i recommend to use the light horn to indicate that he may turn right on your lane. As the connection might be buggy sometimes this is really helpful for the overtaking driver to notice when the distance is enough. You may also use your normal air horn. If you see somebody parking on the side of the road, use your horn when your passing the truck. Sometimes these people do not look and they just start driving and you crash into them. Suggestion Name: An Easier Way To See a Players Current Ping or to access the Tab - Hello All, Suggestion Description: Over the past couple of days I have been coming up with new suggestions that could be rather handy for players in-game (American Truck Simulator & Eurotruck Simulator 2) on the TMP Servers. At times I believe that it can be hard to open up the Tab whilst you're driving if you need it. For example, you may need to open up the side panel to report someone but its not safe to pull over, or you need to check a players ID but they went past you too quickly, or even if you need to check a players ping to see if its safe to stay behind them as they could be lagging which may cause serious accidents and damage. However, it then suddenly blocks part of your screen, and you will need to use your mouse and bring up the cursor to click on the buttons, then if messes up your steering - Its just not practical. An Example: My main suggestion is to see various icons where the players name/tag is. Obviously there should be an option if this goes ahead to add or to not have set 'icons' to the name. My main suggestion is to add the players ping next to their ID, so the other players when they're driving behind or even to the side of them can be aware if some expected lag might happen. This will lower accidents and damage on trucks too as it will be much easier for the players to understand if the person they're following is safe or not. Furthermore, it would also be good if the Name/Tag could be clickable, so if a player would like to report someone then they would just have to click the players name instead of clicking onto tab then finding the person, I think Game Moderators have something like this where they can click the player to highlight them if they need banning or kicking. Example Photo: (Here is a rough example of what I mean - I would like to suggest an optional feature to players which would state a players ping and also have a clickable button on their name if someone would like to report them - It makes it so much easier and also not as time consuming). Within my example photo it includes a number '42' - This shows the players ping. In addition to that, it also has an icon which is an exclamation mark, this would be clickable. These are just optional features which the players could turn on if they wanted within the tab. Why It Should Be Added: Everyone has been behind someone who is lagging but you're not sure if its them or yourself, but then its in a busy place and you haven't got enough time or it isn't safe to concentrate by looking at the Tab - This makes it easier by always being there above the name. Also, everyone has been in the situation when someone quickly crashes into you then drives away or f7s quickly, but you don't catch their ID or name so you can't send off a report. However, this suggestion will make it so much quicker by the click of one button! This method of looking at the players ping or being able to do various things via clicking icons on the players name will reduce the quantity of accidents on the roads. Also, it will let people be able to report a certain person get reported quickly. Please feel free to post your opinions about this - I personally think it would make a great impact to the servers. Name: Make cars be more affected by crash Description: When a car meets with a truck, the force/damage should be distributed into the car way more than into truck (usually based on weight). Pictures: None Why it should be added: The crash system is not obviously perfect (things like trucks jumping into the air after crash is pretty crazy), but this system would be closer to real life. Plus, it would make car drivers be more careful around trucks. And since there is, I guess, number of cases where cars troll trucks higher than trucks trolling cars, this would reduce the trolling overall.

Suggestion Name: Trucker Blackbox Suggestion Description: I am tired of people ramming me just for no good reason. If you overtake me that is fine with me as long as you don't hit me like in real life trucking. However, they ram anyways. The first time I was in Las Vagas and following the rules stopping at every freaking light and from the other side the jerk cross 2 lanes of traffic just to ram me. I try to report them but I did not know how to at the time. After doing a quick reload and trying to find him, the guy was gone. I thought about it last night and came up with an idea that may work out. I call it the Trucker black box. Just like an Airplane black box. In the subroutine where the damage is calculated, add the black box function. Damage.class or where ever the paragraph holds the damage information and how it calculates damage with impact. If (object colide == vehicle) { prompt message = " Do you want to report the player for ramming?" // This will display for both players. If yes to either player, record the last 30 seconds just before the ramming and save it to a file. I am guessing you should be able to pull the server logs and locations just for the 2 vehicles. In addition, traffic signals and other vehicles in the area. Send the file to the GM or moderator that is on duty and allow them to watch the short video 30 seconds before the ramming to determine who ram who... } From there it will be up to the GM to decide. No longer you will need videotape evidence. Yesterday and today other truck drivers drove into my car frontally and both times I had a damage of more than 20.000 €. Is it possible to get these repairs refunded or do you have to pay such costs yourself?

I propose to add a new command "/tps", will help people who are in a difficult situation, with an external order, to go to the service station without losing cargo. Probably everyone knows that, if you carry external orders , and had an accident to go to the service station (F7+Enter), it is necessary to cancel the transported cargo. I noticed, in game moderators, there is a command that teleports to the service station truck... and the cargo is not lost, and remains with the truck. Opis Sugestii: Odtwarzanie powtórki można by dodać pod klawisz np F9 o ile nie jest w użytku bądź pod tab można by było dołączyć opcję odtworzenia i zapisania powtórki która miałaby minimum minutę czasu odtwarzania. Głównie chodzi o to żeby można było łatwo udowodnić czyjąś winą osobie która lubi poodwalać. Przykładowe obrazki: Nie posiadam. Dlaczego twoja sugestia a nie inna?: Jak wiadomo często można spotkać jakiegoś odwalacza na ETS2 MP jak i ATS MP. Możliwość odtwarzania takich powtórek umożliwiłaby nagranie takiego cwanego odwalacza przez osobę poszkodowaną za pomocą np. frapsa i udowodnienie mu winy, a ewentualna możliwość zapisywania pliku powtórki tejże sytuacji przydałaby się dla osób które nie mają programów typu fraps. Sam posiadam frapsa i bandicam ale nie zawsze zdążę uruchomić nagrywanie przed zderzeniem albo jak ktoś mnie obraża czy w inny sposób łamie zasady gry.
