Many community members are often confused about how Veteran roles on the TruckersMP Discord are obtained, which leads to repeated questions and misunderstandings about eligibility and role assignment. To my knowledge, there is currently no dedicated guide that clearly explains how these Discord roles work. For that reason, I believe it would be helpful to create a simple and clear guide explaining the requirements, how roles are assigned, and why some users may not have received them yet. If you have been part of the TruckersMP community for years but only recently joined the Discord, don’t worry, you can still receive your Veteran role as long as your Discord account is properly linked to your TruckersMP profile. So let's start! Step 1 - When you join the Discord for the first time, you will see this page: Feel free to select the game you play the most, OR both of them if you play both. Step 2 - After selecting your games, the next page will ask whether you want to receive notifications or pings when TruckersMP releases an update to their content. Step 3 - The next page is about hobbies and interests. For example, if you select animal pictures, you will gain access to a channel dedicated to animals. If you are interested in vehicles, you will gain access to vehicle-related channels. There are many options available, and you can choose as many as you like. Step 4 - Lastly, you can select which languages you speak. This will give you access to channels for those languages. For example, if you choose Dutch, you will receive the role that grants access to the Dutch language channel. After that, you are free to explore the server. Now, let’s get to the main part, which is how to obtain your Veteran roles on Discord. First of all, go to the TruckersMP discord and click the ⌃ icon. After clicking the ^ icon, you should see a few options. Make sure to click on Linked Roles After clicking on Linked Roles, you should see this: There you are. Next, you will need to verify your Discord account by connecting it to your TruckersMP account. But how do you connect your Discord account to your TruckersMP account? It’s simple. First, go to your TruckersMP profile and click on your name. Once the menu opens, click on Settings. You should see this page: After opening that page, scroll down until you see "External Connections". There should be an option there to link your Discord account to your TruckersMP account. After completing all of these steps, you are good to go. You can return to the Linked Roles page on Discord and select the "Verified" role. After that, you will be able to select your Veteran role according to how long you have been part of the TruckersMP community. How the Veteran roles system works? Veteran Driver I = 1 year in the community. Veteran Driver II = 2 years in the community. Veteran Driver III = 3 years in the community. Veteran Driver IV = 4 years in the community. Veteran Driver V = 5 years in the community. Veteran Driver VI = 6 years in the community. Veteran Driver VII = 7 years in the community. Veteran Driver VIII = 8 years in the community. Veteran Driver IX = 9 years in the community. Veteran Driver X = 10 years in the community. Veteran Driver XI = 11 years in the community. Please note that obtaining Veteran roles on the TruckersMP Discord or on your TruckersMP account is different from obtaining Veteran roles on the forum. These systems are not linked to each other. For example, if you have had your TruckersMP account for one year, you will receive the Veteran Driver I role. However, if you create your forum account today, you will not receive the Veteran Driver I role on the forum, as forum Veteran roles are based on the forum account age. Suggestion Description: Add some benefits for people that had been played more than 1 year, for example make those people have low queue when they try to join servers Any example images: THIS IS AN EXAMPLE, IT BE NOT NECESSARY THE SAME ONE: When they join the server they will have low queue position (in front of members (normal players)) Why should it be added?: Because, it can be a type of gift to they, because they have been playing more than 1 year.
