  1. Hello everyone, Since the original thread has been brutally closed (for some timing reasons apparently), I'm just creating this topic to allow people to continue discussing with ALL the community (not only 1 staff member via feedback). Because there were on-going discussions with interesting exchanges between various members. To continue with what people said recently, while I can understand why we stop showing moderators names and the ban durations: to avoid having harassing moderators or getting spammed with people complaining about not good enough bans given. Why don't we punish these few people who are abusing the feedback/appeal/DMs instead of hiding information to 100% of the players?
  2. Make Sure Each Ban Which Is In-Game Is Always The Same Length For Players Hello All, I hope you're all doing very well - I've thoroughly enjoyed looking through the Forums with all the suggestions and points that have been made. Whilst doing that I have thought of some of my own which also help from other Forum posts that I have seen. Therefore, I'm just going to officially make this into a discussion. My suggestion which I would like to express is to do with 'Ban Lengths' and how the the Game Moderators situate it. Suggestion: - I have noticed that each Game Moderator will ban someone and decide their self at times how long the ban-able player should get. I also understand how there are some set rules about bans and the lengths but it needs to be strongly introduced to the players. I feel like it should be made known to the players how long they will get for each offence that they make. For example, if a player causes a scene from overtaking when its not safe and they cause an accident which leads on to them getting banned the Game Moderator should give a punishment duration which other Game Moderators would of done. It is not fair if one person gets banned for 3 days, where as another player would get banned for one week. Furthermore, maybe the Game Moderator Leaders should come up with a Strict Set Rule Duration Planner. This may be a hard thing to implement into the servers and for the Game Moderators to understand. However, this means the punishments will be fair to all players. I have seen in the past players 'arguing' and 'moaning' when they get banned because they've been banned longer then their mate did when they did the same thing and they have the same amount of bans previously. Also, another point is that you should create a table (like the rough one below) and make it clear for the players. Maybe this could go on the website or the Rules when the game loads up. It will give the players a good understanding and they will realise what the punishments are for each ban, this could stop trolling too and for new players to understand the rules a bit better. Obviously, I understand that there will be times where a Game Moderator would have to bypass this scheme due to something going wrong but if the Moderators set the same ban length for each ban-able reason then there would be no reason for people to argue against it calling the sever 'unfair' and giving grief towards the staff. Furthermore, when a player gets banned they could be stated with the graph, and the admin selects which offence they have done and their duration. Therefore, its more clear and understandable. This means that fair punishments will be given out and each one is equal. Its very important! At times it would go against this system - But then the Game Moderators would take the report by their self and submit the right punishment if they're not sure. For example: Unsafe Overtaking Reckless Driving Chat/CB Abuse Blocking Hacking Other No Punishment History = 3 Days 3 Days 2 Days 3 Days Perm (Depends) Depends One Previous Ban = 3 Days 3 Days 2 Days 3 Days Perm (Depends) Depends Two Previous Bans = 7 Days 7 Days 7 Days 7 Days Perm (Depends) Depends Three Previous Bans = 1 Month 1 Month 1 Month 1 Month Perm (Depends) Depends Four or More Bans = 3 Months 3 Months 3 Months 3 Months Perm (Depends) Depends This table is only a rough sketch so you can understand my point more clearly. It features how long the ban should be if they have a certain punishment history - As you can see it clearly goes up in duration if they keep on failing to keep to TMP Rules. The ban duration's are not accurate, This is only for educational purposes for you to understand. I have not seen anything like this yet - This is why I'm introducing this and suggesting it! Feel free to state your opinions about this - Furthermore, it would be great if some higher up staff including Game Moderators could express their opinion about this as well! Its hard getting your head around it , but I feel like it would work so much better. Please be aware that the graph will not be displayed properly if you’re on your mobile. If you react then please tell me why you’ve decided to react with that certain emote. Have a great Night and also week- Many Thanks, Dan
  3. I have been banned a few times for mistakes I will admit we're in my control. Granted the most recent one month ban for typing "f*CK you" to a dirty driver was a little surprise, but overall, I have had little gripes with the ban and rule system. What are your guy's/gals/non binary pals experience with the system? Any interesting/funny stories? Any frustrating moments? Unique appeals?
  4. According to Rule 2.8 Bans for 5 days will be for 90 days, I was watching a video, where a player had 5 bans on his account, Now he has 0, I tried to read the article but I didn't understand. Can someone help me
  5. This is only technical question, as I haven't found a response to it yet. The rules state that in order to join team (as a mod, etc) you cannot have more than 3 bans on your profile. I would like to ask, do the expired bans (past 1 year) count to that, if they do not count into your ban duration?
  6. Suggestion Name: Road to Simulation 2.0: How servers should be. Suggestion Description: With lots of feedback given by the community about how they want the characteristics of the servers, I think This could summarize all of that in one suggestion. The Idea is to debate the changes I suggest, except for the server Slots, which will be modified in the future by how many people use each one. So please, give it lots of reactions to get it open to give you the option to do your contributions. ARCADE Server (2200 SLOTS) Like the actual Arcade ones, but !!!WITH!!! Collisions, even it still applies the Freeroam Server rules (No ban for ramming, the wrong way, etc). NO SPEED LIMITS WITH Collisions on the roads, as usual servers. NCZ (Non-Collision Zone) on truck-services, companies, etc. Skoda ALLOWED, Freeroam server Rules = Any active Moderation by GM's. and even the In-game Report could be disabled. If someone wants to report for any other thing, do it with the website System, with Very Low Priority. Full-SIMULATION Server (2200 Slots). The most important Server if TMP really wants to advance through a more Simulation style gameplay. In my opinion, this should be the Priority of any GM if he wants to do InGame Active Moderation More REAL Speed Limits: 50km/h on cities; 90km/h outside of cities. If you want to simulate, but also you want to do a 2000km job... as the real life, you will need to dedicate more than one day of driving. With Collisions, as always. On the future (OPTIONAL) even all the NCZ could be reduced at only the "green points" where you must stop to interact with the game. And real Simulation players could respect each other even at the unloading zones... Skoda ALLOWED, and (OPTIONAL) the 2.6& Rule could be disabled to give any convoy all priorities if they are well escorted with enough Pilots (OPTIONAL). With this low-speed limit, it will be so rare to take the Skoda for trolling, and it will be used by their original Pilot purpose or as a Caravan trips... INCREASE PUNISHMENT Only ON THIS SERVER: The first 3 bans of any account will have 1 WEEK MINIMUM length Duration, to discourage any kind of rule-breaking on this server. First Priority of any GM if he wants to do in-game Active Moderation, with always at Peak Hours, at least ONE GM Connected and looking for In-Game reports, If possible and TMP really wants to encourage the community to a simulation style. HYBRID Server (4200 Slots). I think this will be the most popular server if the “Different Speed Limits” are applied to it, but without any cars driving on here. This will be likely the old EU3, with some changes. Different Speed Limit: (80km/h inside any City for everyone) a. IF you HAVE a Trailer ATTACHED = 110km/h b. IF you HAVE NOT a Trailer ATTACHED = 150km/h 1.2. If this could not be set-up, the Speed limit for Everyone could be 130km/h (Something between the 150km/h and 110km/h) 3.WITH Collision, Skoda NOT Allowed, and rules and punishments will be applied as the same way as they are now, with one add-on. a. If you have 3 or more ACTIVE Bans for Ramming/Reckless Driving/Inappropriate Overtake/Wrong way/Blocking, you CAN NOT enter at this server, with an Automatic KICK system. This should be another way, more drastically, to discourage trolling, such as the suggested on the Full Simulation Server. 4.(OPTIONAL) If this server gets popular only for the C-D route, I propose to set up the Entire route as if it was a city, so the speed limit will be 80km/h inside C-D And if TMP needs Another server, it could be a second ARCADE or FULL SIMULATION, depending on which one is used more. Why should it be added?: With the new record of 36 pages of discussion about the “Road to Simulation” post which is the most controversial topic ever wrote, I wanted to make my suggestion about it. In the ideal world, there will be only the Full Simulation server style, but with lots of the community who wants to speed, they can do it at their own risk by their Priorities. Arcade server, where you can drive as fast as you want will be an “Anarchy” server with collisions. If they want more “security” about not being trolled, but drive at “high speeds”, go at Hybrid server looking at your bans, because when you get the 3rd ban for the reasons I mentioned before, you could not get access at this server, and you must play only on the Anarchy or the “Slow” Full Simulation one… And VTC's and real Simulation players who want to play ETS2/ATS, we will have the Full-SIMULATION Server, with real speed limits and, hopefully, any kind of NCZ which will increase the respect on the community and doing convoys with REAL Pilots. And most of the simulation drivers would accept to give way at bigger convoys(disable the 2.6 rule) if they are well designed and appropriately signalized. Also, with the increased punishment of the first 3 bans and the low-speed limits, I presume this server will not attract any troller at all. Also, if most of this will be applied on with new rules, another one must be added about SHOWING which server you are when reporting someone via the website or even at In-Game system, because of the different ban lengths on each Server. Thank you for reading all of it and share this post with your friends or VTC colleges to try to get open this suggestion as soon as possible to give everyone the opportunity to add their related suggestions. See you on the road.
  7. Hello, is it possible for users who have bans to have access only to arcade servers ??? Please accept because it's a good idea
  8. Suggestion Name: Bans public for VTC Suggestion Description: An option to allow people in the VTC able to see users bans Any example images: N/A Why should it be added?: Some users might not want there bans visible to everyone but some companies have public bans as a requirements Regards, Coolio85
  9. Evening. I've read the rules once again and I've noticed one thing that in my honest opinion needs an explanation. According to the paragraph 2.9 of Rules, any ban issued 12 months before the current date is ignored while user is being banned. As it's written in the same line with the 6th ban rule, I'd ask whether it applies only to permanent bans, or all of them, for example if I had been banned for 3 months, 13 months ago, will my next ban be 3 months long, or will its duration be set at GM's discretion? Another example: I've had the 3rd ban issued 11 months ago, 1st and 2nd over 12 months ago, will my next ban be counted as the 2nd or the 4rd one? Thanks in advance for the answer, Wewek
  10. Hello i was suggesting that the community should think of payment option as a punishment for permanent bans rather than a permanent loss of a trucker/member.I know and understand that our community is now growing so fast than thought of and to the extent that controlling all truckers is becoming difficult and also increasingly expensive to maintain the servers. But if payment is thought of as an option for punishment this will decrease the number of reckless drivers in the game and also this money in the long run can help admins to efficiently maintain the servers. I came to this suggestion because i realised now that the servers are quite busy to the extent that people far [other continent like Asia, Africa, etc} from the servers are being affected with the auto kicks and long queues to connect onto the servers etc which was not the case before Europe2 server was increased to accommodate a maximum of 4200 clients.
  11. Merhaba TruckersMP. Harika bir fikirle buraya geldim. Truckersmp'de kullanıcılar 1 report yerine 3 report ile ban yemeli düşünüyorum. Bu kullanıcılar için daha sağlıklı olabilir. Sevgiler, Kewoo
  12. Since it doesn’t specify on the website if a ban exprires at that time in your time zone or if it is UTC, I thought I’d ask.
  13. Hello, I really want to join your team but, I've got problem. I've been banned for Car + Trailer but, I was new and I didn't know that you can take trailer to your car and I was surprised that actually you can take it so, I drove a bit but it was boring so I've cancelled that job shortly. Now I know that it is not allowed but earlier, I didn't know that. And what to do now about joining your wonderful Team? I will never do Car + Trailer again but, can You do something about this? I will be happy of Anything You say but I just want to know what to do in this situation. I'll be checking your recruitments everyday because as I said - I really want to join so, that's it. Have a nice week pilkaqqqq My Ban: https://imgur.com/a/1Y4s1
  14. A few days ago I got banned for 3 months for violating the rules 5 times, but I didn't recall being banned so many times. So I went to my ban history on my profile and I found numerous bans I can't recall recieving, and that don't have any evidence or video attached to them. In order to clear this up, do I make an appeal to my current ban (Which was earned, I did overtake on the CD road), email truckersmp, or use another form of contact
  15. My ban has not been uplifted and it states: Reason: Blocking t00:39:27 - Ban Expires 2016-05-14 14:39:39 / this is GMT (UK) time.
