  1. Your answer was predictable, because no active TruckersMP team member would denounce itself or other team members of not doing a heck of a job. How can there be too many violators being reported? Isn't it in the interest of this entire community to remove as many rule-breakers as possible?
  2. And if you'd continue to report users who violate the rules, it could be an hour of undisturbed driving. In the long run, at least.
  3. The idea is that certain features are set by the server and can't be changed by the user. Imagine, users could turn off the speed limit on "simulation" 1 server. It doesn't make sense to provide the option of turning certain features on or off, in particular not, if such features are a fundamentally part of the role-playing. These features definitely include collision, fatigue, fines, weather and (hopefully) many more.
  4. The calculation of the compensation for caused damages must be executed by an independent surveyor to avoid the risk of fraud. If the victim would be allowed to calculate it himself, he might tend to exaggerate the repair costs and get a financial advantage. THe same is true if the counter party would calculate the damages of the victim's vehicle, which likely would be too less. The surveyor inspects the vehicle and determines the repair costs (brand depending). These costs will be compared against the average value market of the undamaged vehicle of the same type and configuration. If the repair costs exceed a certain percentage of the vehicle's market value, it will be declared as an economical total loss. The victim will be paid only the remaining value of the vehicle (not the average market value). If the repair costs don't lead to a economical total loss, the vehicle can be repaired at a workshop of choice or authorized repair shop (depending on the victim's insurance contract). The costs will be paid by the other party's insurance (given that he is insured and the insurance covers the case). Phew! Now, how could this be applied to Euro Truck Simulator 2 respectively American Truck Simulator?
  5. ‼️ C-D road version 2 released‼️

  6. The idea of the role-playing server is ... well ... to role-play (suprise!), and in this particualr case, a trucker and company owner. Against this background, don't you think it would be only a logical consequence to enable as many features as possible that support a realistic experience as best as possible?
  7. The speed is limited by the server configuration and can't be disabled. If you want to drive at higher speed, consider using the "simulation" 2 server (Speed limit 150 km/h) or the arcade server.
  8. Unless they can use it in their favor to advertise the safety aspects of their products.
  9. Howdy fellow truckers, I've been giving some thought to the "simulation" 2 server, as it hasn't seen much activity since its introduction. How about transforming it into a dedicated role-playing (RP) server? The server could be defined by certain pre-settings, for example collision mode enabled in all areas activated fines activated fatigue syncronized weather etc... As role-playing adds a layer of realism and immersion to the game, it would be beneficial for the part of the TruckersMP community which strives for realistic simulation. I'd love to hear your thoughts on this proposal. Please vote and if you like, share your opinions, ideas, and suggestions below.
  10. How does reloading an autosave help to gain the highest prestige rank? Could you explain in more detail what you mean by that?
  11. Guten Morgen. Ich habe gerade einen Espresso genossen.
  12. True, but the pink elephant in front of the rollerskating unicorn has remarkable detailed eye lashes.
  13. I wouldn't go into much detail. Let the user click on the engine bay and present him/ her some stats bars of certain aspects, like quantities of liquids like oil, water, AdBlue, etc. For a price, they could be adjusted (refilled, repaired). Think of it more like a visual /fix command.
  14. I agree. If possible, a truck driver should stay in his or her lane, because it makes it easier for other road users to predict his/ her way of travel, which increases road safety. A lane change should only be performed for evasive maneuvers in an emergency, or where the planned direction of travel requires it.
  15. I wish TruckersMP would find a way to implement such an RP server. The idea of an insurance company to provide financial compensation for damages caused by another party is certainly interesting. But it bears the question how to determine who is at fault or to which amount the affected parties carry responsibility for an accident. In RL, it can take several years to answer such questions. I'd like to refrain from suggesting that the damage will only be settled after a game moderator has layed down the law, as it could lead to corruption within the TruckersMP team and undue enrichment by insurance fraud. Disciplinary actions should not be excluded per se or replaced by an insurance system. In RL, it is often the case that a perpetrator will be fined or punished by police according to the law, and independent of the following insurance stuff. Just thinking aloud.
  16. If I had to choose between the /fix command or a repair station for busses, I would choose the /fix command. Additional repair stations will have a greater impact on traffic, and, depending on where they are located, can be difficult to reach.
  17. Howdy fellow truckers, Happy Valentine's Day to all of you! Today is the day of love, and I'd like to hear about all the creative and heartwarming plans you've come up with for your crush or beloved one. Is it a a thoughtful gesture? A surprise date? Or a crafted gift? Or the classic candlelit dinner? What have you planned? I Can't wait to hear your stories!
  18. Thank you for your follow, much obliged. 🙏

  19. Who is supervising the Community Moderation Manager(s)?
  20. In the past, a simple mouse cursor could move mountains. Maybe one doesn't need hands nor feet after all in game to repair a truck.
  21. Thank you for your follow. It is much appreciated. 🙏

      You're Welcome ❤️

  22. Care to share how many of the 1.4 billion reports made were reagrded as invalid? Otherwise, it only looks like bragging about big numbers. The provided websites do not answer my question. As a matter of fact, they don't contain any term related to napping or sleeping. So again: how does TruckersMP surveils their user to be able to claim that they were sleeping?
