How to avoid accidents? Difficult to impossible, as one can't control other users. How to avoid causing accidents? Easy. Follow national traffic regulations, adapt your speed to the traffic situation, the weather and road conditions, and keep a sufficient safety distance.

In other words:: roughly 15 percent of reported players were banned, and 85 percent were permitted to continue violating the rules. Care to elaborate on how the TruckersMP team surveils their users? It sounds already like a threat to privacy and violation of multiple laws. A number that is saddening. It implies the continuation of the negative impact on the game experience of many users, caused by misbehaving users. Nex time, please don't forget to share WHERE the /fix command was applied! I guess a strong tendecy towards certain infamous areas will be notable.

This advise should not be limited to beginners only. Overtaking is not safe in areas with a high traffic volume.

Unless certain elements are protected by trademark, copyright or patent law, I find it difficult to claim an impersonation of a whole VTC solely by using the same or similar trailer design, while the former case might be protected by intellectual property law. My personal impression of many existing VTC designs is that they are rather amateurish and don't run the risk of being immitated.

If a player, contrary to better knowledge or without the certainty that another vehicle is controlled by a human being or by artificial intelligence (AI), behaves in a way which violates the TruckersMP rules, he is subject of being punished.

The best feature has not been included yet: AI traffic.

Trucks can indeed drive faster than 110 km/h. In most countries of the European Union, vehicles over 3,5 tons of weight (trucks) are limited to a speed of 80 to 90 km/h on highways.1 And the german "Autobahn is no exception. As a matter of fact, the truck speed limit on highways in Germany is only 80 km/h. On certain sections of the Autobahn (but by far not everywhere!), vehicles below 3,5 tons of weight may drive as fast as they want. However, a maximum speed of 130 km/h is recommended. Ignoring this recommendation can be taken into consideration in your disfavor in case of an accident. You see, the actual server speed limit of 110 km/h is a trade-off between both. In general and independent of posted speed limits, one should only drive as fast as one can permanently control the vehicle, and adapt the speed to the traffic situation as well as the weather and road condition. I regard the access to unlimited amounts of money one of the causes of careless and reckless driving behavior, which is the reason why I advocate for non-tweakable, server-sided user profiles.

One can only wonder why all VTCs should be given exclusive privileges that individual players who are not affiliated with a VTC would be denied. In particular, if individual players were forced to download VTC paint jobs and without the possibilty to either individually select from them or even deselect them all.
