    Got a new pc, but my graphicscard is old. Now I just read that graphicscard shortage will remain till half 2021 and the prices only will go up.... Sadpepememe

      I was lucky to get my new graphics card in less than 4 weeks

    Just build a new pc, shame new graphics cards are unavailable. So stuck with my GTX970.

    Don't know if it is mentioned already but: This comes with the 1.40 update yes? So all the suggestions now, are just temporarily fixes, because Duisburg will have a complete overhaul, according to the SCS Blog. It is only a month or 2 before the 1.40 update? The problems in Duisburg are for years, so a few more months sucking it up shouldn't be difficult. And if you are fed up with it, just avoid the place... That's what I do, I saw the port of Calais the other day (I haven't been gaming for over a year and started again recently). And I was like: Nope not going there, until they made the port a NCZ. I think people want to have it difficult and want to complain about Duisburg. People love to complain and then lash out to the admins, moderators. And then they feel good about themselves.

    Just visited port of Calais, because never been there since the update. What a mess to get into the ferry... Hopefully it will become a NCZ soon.

    Yes you can close it. I found out that construction yards are probably the best bet, to safely spawn a heavy cargo trailer.

    After half an hour of trying, I finally have spawned a locomotive trailer to be hauled. Apparently cement construction, also has locomotives lol.

    It sometimes also happens with normal trailers... I suppose it is just trail and error then.

    I use a lot of VspEditor to coordinate my routes. And when I spawn a Heavy cargo trailer in either the black sea or the baltic sea DLC's, this happens: I don't know if this is a bug from SCS. TMP or just something that can't be fixed. I've searched a bit but couldn't find any topics. If these are bugs that need to be fixed by TMP, I will get the coordinates the next time I encounter it and file a bug report.

    Ok I noticed indeed when there are other truckers nearby, that this issue occurred. Also looked around the forum for fmod and saw a lot of other issues with sound, like the horns. So just a bug.

    Since I've came back to ETS2, I noticing that my truck sometimes makes a startup sound, while I'm on cruise control and the retarder is activated. Also I had my truck completely stall, when I was driving without a trailer and needed to break. Causing me to loose control and go sideways.. Normally I know these things only happen, when the truck is damaged engine wise. However I maintain the truck pretty thoroughly and ensure I don't have damage other than a few percentage of the tires. Is there a new feature that if the truck has a lot of kilometers, that it needs replacement, or is the startup sound while driving just a bug? (And the stalling was just a freak accident).

    Removed VSPE and unzipped it again didn't work. config.cfg checked g_save_format is 2. Moved VSPE from my documents to the steam ETS2 folder. Tested and issue solved. (And locomotive trailer severely damaged before I could pick it up haha). Found the issue as well. I didn't check the security rights correctly. Users are (apparently) only allowed to read and execute in the ETS2 folder in my docs. While in steamapps ETS2 folder, they have read and write privileges. Edit: gave users read and write access to ETS2 folder in my docs. Placed VSPE in the same folder. Issue recurred again... Solution: place VSPE in steamapps ETS2 folder.

    Since a few days I started playing again and I just updated my Virtual_SPeditor to version 2.14 and extracted it into my ETS2 folder in my documents. VSPE opens fine and I am able to select my profile. (I see my ETS2MP profile name in VSPE). So I select the source, company and the same at destination. Then I press add cargo. And then save but then a error occurs. The error says (in short) that access to manifest.txt is refused. Continued anyway, loaded up my save, went to the location. And the cargo was not there. I closed VSPE, opened it in admin mode and tried again. Same error. Checked the folder of VSPE, and manifest.txt is not created. Created the txt file myself. Checked security tab. Rights are set as usual. So tried it again, but still the same error. The error.log doesn't show any error's with the reading and adjusting of the profile. Is this a error that is preventing my cargo to load?
