  1. What a shame. I have been a huge fan of ETS2 since I began playing it almost right after its release. Needless to say, I was absolutely thrilled when ETS2 MP was announced and finally released. And don't get me wrong, I am terribly grateful for the amount of effort the Truckers MP team has put into the whole project. However, I must say that I am a bit disappointed over the direction thatTruckers MP seems to be heading for. I think we can all agree that ETS2 isn't exactly a "simulator" per definition, however, I do still believe that the idea and concept of ETS2 is of a serious nature. That being said, I don't see this being reflected in Truckers MP. When I first heard about a MP for ETS2 I thought "Yes, finally I can drive in an environment with other drivers that behave and act more like a human truck driver would. Not like the terribly bad AI in SP". Sadly, this hope of mine has gradually dwindled away due to the MP being more and more catered towards the people who want to drag race trucks, race across Europe with no speed limiter or otherwise drive and act like no real truck driver would. And yes, I know you have servers for those of us who like a bit more realism, however, the sad thing is that those servers are almost entirely empty. The main reasons being that those of us who drive more realistically have either given up on MP or drive on the more populated servers just to meet other drivers along the road. Even though you know it will cause certain death for yourself and your cargo... So please tell me, why can't you just make the MP the way it should have been made? With speed limiter and collision zones where it is logical and practical to have them? Do you really want to attract players who have no interest in atleast trying to play ETS2 as a simulator? I just want to end this post by stating that these are my personal opinions and that people may disagree with me if they feel that I am wrong. However, I do think that ETS2 MP is heading in a not so favorable direction and I am sad to say that it has been ruined by trolls and people not even interested in trying to play the game even a little bit seriously.
  2. Where can I change the settings you are talking about?
  3. I have a problem with my Driving Force GT that I have never experienced before. The issue is related to the L3 and R3 buttons which seem to change my gear to neutral and reverse even though the buttons are not set for that. In fact, the "set gear to neutral" has no button assigned to it. Please, I need help.
  4. Thank you very much for responding, however, that would not work either. I am starting to suspect that my game is not acknowledging my live_stream.sii file at all. Do you think you could be so kind and copy paste everything you have in your .sii file? Atleast the first bit. You see, I am thinking that I may have changed the live_stream_def line by mistake, and that it may corrupt everything. On the other hand, I have no clue about such things. It's pretty much a desperate shot in the dark from my side. I got it to work I got so mad that I decided to just uninstall everything and start fresh. Took backups and everything, and now it seems to work just fine.
  5. Hello, fellow truckers I am curious to know whether I am the only one having issues with editing and saving the live_streams.sii file in ets2? Seems like I can't get the file to save properly because none of the radio stations show up in the radio menu in-game. I have used the exact same method before, and it has worked just fine until recently. The odd thing is that there seem to be no way I can get the streams to show up, even though I have followed the guidelines provided to us by SCS themselves. Please, can anybody explain to me how I can edit the file and actually make it work?
