You can't play TruckersMP on 1.38, because TruckersMP doesn't Support the Current Version of Euro Truck Simulator 2 or American Truck Simulator 2 (1.38). Your Friends most likely just playing Single Player.

Hello @panhara1,
that is totally normal whit the downgraded Version of 1.37, it will be compatible back again if TruckersMP Supports 1.38 (soon) or if u want World of Truck Jobs u need to go in Singleplayer whit Version 1.38 and there it will work also

Erst einmal ein Herzliches Willkommen im TruckersMP Forum und glückwunsch zu deinem ersten Forum Post.
Andererseits kannst du einfach beim TruckersMP VTC System: https://truckersmp.com/vtc nach einer passenden Spedition suchen, da kannst du unter anderem auch nach speziellen Sachen Filtern wie zum beispiel: Sprache, Name & Ingame Tag
Vielleicht findest du da ja eine Passende Spedition für deine Anforderungen, Ich hoffe du wirst fündig damit ein passend Spedition für dich zu finden.

Erst einmal ein Herzliches Willkommen im TruckersMP Forum und glückwunsch zu deinem Ersten Forum Post.
Auf der anderen seit versuch mal das folgende
- Lösche mal alle ProMods-Dateien aus deinem ETS2-Mod-Ordner (Documents\Euro Truck Simulator 2\mod).
- Nachdem du das getan hast, extrahieren die Dateien erneut aus den heruntergeladenen ProMods-Archiven.
- Versuchen Sie nach dieser "Neuinstallation" von ProMods erneut, TruckersMP ProMods zu starten.
Wenn dies nicht funktionieren sollte, schick uns doch bitte mal ein Screenshot deines Mod-Ordners (Documents\Euro Truck Simulator 2\mod), um eine andere Lösungen für dein Problem zu finden!
Ich hoffe das diese Lösung dir weiter hilft.

Press the Windows Key + R (Win+R) on your keyboard

Enter "%programdata%" and press Enter (without the quotes)

Find the folder "TruckersMP" and delete that folder.

Navigate to and C:\Program Files\ delete the folder named "TruckersMP Launcher"

Go to our website and re-download and install the Launcher with admin privilegeshttps://truckersmp.com/download/

Open The Launcher with admin privileges and click "Install Available Updates"
This Solution above is fitting for your Error Code ,,System.UnauthorizedAccessException: Access to the path 'C:\ProgramData\TruckersMP\core_atsmp.dll' is denied.,,

Second of all coming back to your Questions,
- Yes u can see other People not specifically while viewing the Map whit M ingame but over this link https://ets2map.com/, but u can see them while u drive around on the Map therefore you can open the Players List whit the Tab Key to see when there is anybody near you or around you
- No, the CB Radio is not a Mod that u have to download sperat have a look at these Guides about the CB Radio:
- Yes there is a ingame Chat u can access by Pressing Y more Keybindings and Tips can be Found here:
Also here are some more Guides for getting start in the Multiplayer as well as a Guide about Supported Mods by TruckersMP

Hallo @Little_Mohikaner(GER/REC),
Erst einmal ein Herzliches Willkommen im TruckersMP Forum und Glückwunsch zum ersten Forum Post.
Andererseits liegt das daran dass im Update am 06.05.2020 die Funktion hinzugefügt wurde mit den Tasten , und . den Funk Channel zu ändern bzw zu verstellen.
Das heisst das ist mir auch schon aufgefallen das ich meinen Funk Channel immer ändert wenn ich Blinke egal ob nach Links , oder nach Rechts . zum abbiegen ändert sich der Kanal und das ist leicht nervig da man diese Tastenbelegung von TruckersMP gesetzt nicht ändern kann, das sich aber in Hoffnung in naher Zukunft ändern lässt.
Genau aus diesen Gründen muss ich mein Funk immer ausstellen, da ich meine Tasten Kombi bloß deswegen nicht ändern möchte. Daher nutzte ich TS3 oder Discord falls ich mal in einem Konvoi oder mit Kollegen fahren sollte.
Nochmal hier nachzulesen in Features unter Punkt Zwei

Das liegt daran dass du diese Einstellung in dem Savegame für die 1.38 verändert hast und nicht in der 1.37 wenn du die oben genannten Dinge also die 10 Mio € und das Level 165 auch in deinem 1.37 Savegame möchtest musst du diese auch in deinem 1.37 Savegame ändern bzw so bearbeiten.

To do so, just follow these Steps right here:
- Go into C:\ProgramData\TruckersMP\data\shared\ui
- Search the Image u want to edit (in your case its server_item_1.png) and copy the image
- Go back into C:\ProgramData\TruckersMP\data and create a new Folder and name it shared_mod
- in there u create a ui folder and in there you paste the server_item_1.png u copied out of C:\ProgramData\TruckersMP\data\shared\ui
- Now u can open the picture whit any Photo Edit Software like Photoshop, Pain.net or Gimp
- Edit it to your likeing and save it whit the size, original name and data type
- If all done correctly it should change to the Picture you made it into

Mais a l'heure actuelle, il n'y a "aucun" mod qui fonctionne sur le multi, donc cela ne sert pas a grand chose de le demander..
De plus pour des raisons de sécurité, il n'est pas autorisé de mettre des liens avec un téléchargement de fichier.

Hello @tijnne,
when ever u downgrade from the Highest Version (1.38) to a lower Version (temporary_1_37 - 1.37.x for incompatible mods)
if u then try to load a 1.38 Save Game it will not work, there for u can either scroll down in the part where u can select a Save Game and search for a compatible one or u can go into Documents\Euro Truck Simulator 2
and search for the oldest version (in your case 1.37) and then copy the Profil u need out of profiles(1.37).bak (bak = Backup) into your Documents\Euro Truck Simulator 2\profiles Folder and then it should work fine to Play TruckersMP
again
