  4. Suggestion Name: Modded Server using Promods + Rusmap + Project Balkans Suggestion Description: A new or replaced server that is enforcing these three maps client-side would be nice. Otherwise many others and I see no reason to touch the multiplayer and take it seriously. Any example images: Look up the maps above on google. Why should it be added?: Cause it seems like the original map made by SCS mapdesigners was made with Paint. There is no love in it. In the promods map there is so much details and love. I wonder how any development team can be so arrogant, If you look through this forum 60% of the suggestions are mod support.

  7. In my suggestion i am restricting it even more. Textures like paintjobs are tricky cause every player would need to have those. That would only be possible when the TruckersMP team rewrites the base game to not crash on missing textures and instead replacing it by a default/random one for the players that don't have it or if they force everyone to have it by default, like the Skoda.

Suggestion Name: Virtual 'Dashcam' for report videos Suggestion Description: Since it's possible code such a thing (proof [1] [2]) it would be pretty neat to have a software implemented that constantly records the game while in MP and keeps the last 30 seconds of that recording and in case of a report it appends it. A nice addition would be to mirror the 'Dashcam' view on a virtual interior dashcam like the one from SiSL's Mega Pack. Any example images: Not for now. Why should it be added?: Cause not everyone wants to run a recording software everytime he plays the game just to have good evidence. I would understand if you say this is probably a suggestion that should be made to a modder. In that case i will re-ask for it on the SCS forums. What i was also thinking of is a way to record game actions as a script (like in the Minecraft ReplayMod for example.) That way a report would not use that much bandwith when sending to a admin.
  9. Suggestion Name: Whitelist based mod support Suggestion Description: I know that modding support was rejected before, but this is different cause it would not harm anyone. So my suggestion is to have a whitelist based modding system. I know it will be some work to create that list (i would help if you want me to) but you would not need to change it very often since there is no additional content planned. Answer to HumaneWolf: It would not allow to replace any textures/paintjobs at all. It would not change any files that get loaded by other players. They would be local mods so your CDN would not be affected and the copyright stays safe. If it could crash any game, it would only crash the game of the mod user. It would not, as i said in the post you probably didn't read properly: Creating a simple post in the forum explaining which files are allowed and which not => Linking to that post every time someone asks, just like with everything else.
  10. Suggestion Name: Support Steam In-Home streaming Suggestion Description: Explained below. Any example images: No. Why should it be added?: Currently Steam In-Home streaming does not work cause the MP launcher is a external executable that gets closed after it altered the game and started it. That way if you start to stream ETS2:MP from another PC via Steam the game opens on the server PC and stays open but it immediatly closes on the client pc. That is because steam watches the "launcher_ets2mp.exe" and that process gets closed when the game is starting up. A possible solution that i can't test is to make the launcher not closing when the game starts. That way we could check if Steam is recognizing that the launcher starts another process "eurotruck2.exe" and if it's streaming that process then. Another way could be a MP on/off switch launcher that when you start it, it modifies the game until you start it the next time. Then you could regulary stream ETS2 on steam with enabled multiplayer.

  13. Thanks for your help anyway, God. I managed to change to horn sound to a german police siren by: Getting the mod from the Steam workshop. Replacing the klakson_int.ogg file in the "\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\227300\679170273\universal\sound\truck\skoda\int" directory by this file. Replacing the klakson_ext.ogg file in the "\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\227300\679170273\universal\sound\truck\skoda\ext" directory by this file. Now i have a german police siren while pressing [H]. The last thing i have to accomplish is making the horn toggable, so i dont have to keep the key pressed. I'll probably use AutoHotkey or something similar for that.

Do you see any chance that the police Skoda gets released on the workshop from the original author (I think it was Vodka) or the actual maintainer for single player use with workng sirens? Or can someone give me a tutorial how to change the horn of the Skoda to a siren?
