I'm currently running windows 10 and ran truckersMP on compatibility mode for windows 7. It worked like magic. Both the files (core_ets2.dll & data1.adb) were installed. I'm back to the game. Yaay! The problem is solved.

Okay the problem still exists and I have seen many posts with similar problems since Jan which had no solution. So as @3567- said I filed a ticket to the official support team. I'm waiting for further reply.

Hi @mwl4 truckersmp launcher is updating and re-updating data1.adb and coreets2mp.dll. I have manually deleted core_ets2.dll but could not find data.adb in the said address. I know my problem is a bit different but I'm facing this issue since Friday.

Hello! I did exactly you said. There were updates available. I installed them but an update named "Euro Truck Simulator 2" is not installing. My current game version is 1.26.5.1s which updated yesterday night following which i am facing this issue (now i checked the steam downloads and came to know about the game update). I'm still facing the same problem. Anyone using the latest ets2 version?

From today a message-"Can't connect server. Your client protocol does not match with server" is showing. I ve downloaded the latest mp mod and reinstalled it as mentioned in previous posts but of no use. Pls try to help as soon. Can't play ets2 mp.
