  1. I appreciate your detailed response to my concerns. However, this one point is really the heart of the matter. The overarching rule about collisions has caused a lot of people to have "REC/BAN" in their names because anyone is actually capable of making a reportable mistake. Just today, I passed by a trucker reversing on the highway to make his turn. Does the community WANT me to report him? I only said to him "Be careful, you could get banned for that" and carried on. Id rather have a bad trucker that I have to pass by cautiously then NO trucker at all (if he is banned). Do you understand what I mean? PS: I didn't know World of Truck contracts are un-saveable by the way, so now I can understand better the purists who are completely in it for the simulation. However, as you know, there are way too many bad sports who are recording as you mentioned who do ruin our experience, even if none of us are angels or robots.
  2. How is that possible? You can check your map, you can check the TAB screen to see nearby trucks. There is no such thing as human error if you really want to be strict.
  3. People with "REC" "BAN" or whatever in their names are the SCOURGE of ETS2MP. They are servants of big brother, preying upon human error and emotion. If you do not want to see any errors committed, why are you playing multiplayer??? We are humans, not AI. What is fun about driving with 100% robotic drivers? If you enjoy that, there's offline mode just for you with extra vehicles and realism!! I play multiplayer BECAUSE I enjoy playing with GOOD AND EVIL people. I enjoy driving and coming up on a fresh accident in front of me and having to put on blinkers and warning lights and slow down. I enjoy making a mistake myself, and almost crashing into people when I accidentally drive on the right side of the road upon entering England. It is fun when you honk in a friendly (or unfriendly) way when passing people. It is fun when you get a little bit of road rage and swerve and play with other trucks in some cases. These are called human interactions. Many have good or bad intentions but they create a DYNAMIC environment which is more challenging and rewarding to navigate. If you are just there to report every accident to the mod team, you are a complete troll and are ruining my gaming experience, my immersion, and my faith in the community to solve its own problems rather than be crybabies that "tell on" each other in pure SPITE. Please let me know if you agree or disagree.
  4. The reason why everyone is doing "Recording" in their name and actualling saying to you "REC BAN" is because the server rules are extremely heavy-handed. Every collision in ETS2MP is bannable according to Rule 2.2: " §2.2 - Ramming* Causing a collision with another player intentionally or due to negligence. Attempting to cause a collision by steering towards their vehicle." There is no room for "accidents" or for people to apologize or be a good sport. If you are recorded and reported for a minor infraction, you will probably get banned. Many people love this rule and simply play to make it a living hell for us relaxed players. If the rule was eased and the enforcement made less heavy handed, you will see way less people becoming spies for the mod team, who dont need to be spammed with every single collision report because we players always deal with them ourselves without seeking to end the gametime of another person. If they allow truck collisions to be disabled, it would be another way to avoid people getting banned. But as it stands, the draconian rule needs to be revised and allow for more freedom and remove power from the record/ban club.

  6. 1. If I admit to violating a rule, shouldnt I be given mercy? 2. The admin who banned me spent 1 second to decide to ban me for 4 days, because the event happened in 5 seconds. 3. I am impatient because I have a life. 4. A redress of grievances is not pathetic crying, because that is the structure of the appeal system created by the administration. 5. I disagree, and appeal because that is in a justice system. According to humans on earth. 6. I ask for people to listen and instruct. You are a troll. No help.
  7. Hi guys. I would like to share my experience of my first ever ban in any video game I ever played. It happened last night, at the end of a long convoy to Lublin. Im sure many people were right there as witnesses. I was going on the wrong side of the road, almost entering the final trade zone of the convoy, when all of the sudden, I encounter a police car at the intersection and 5 seconds later, I am disconnected with a 4 day BAN by "Cooper's Freightmaster." I am still imagining how quickly this admin dispatched me with a ban. It must have taken him less than a second, to figure out the very short chain of reasoning he had, and conclude and react the way he did. Now the first thing I did was ask a friend what to do. They told me to private message a Project Director on the TruckersMP forum, under Staff. Then I also messaged the admin who banned me, apologizing, and asking for mercy in my case. Next, I went to the TruckersMP website and officially Appealed my ban. Nothing happened for an hour, no response, so I also direct messaged every ingame admin listed about my situation, and also emailed [email protected] What happened was admins replied telling me to wait for a Project Director or the admin who banned me to do something. Three hours have passed since my ban, and I am still at the computer in shock at how such a small offense led to a huge punishment, when everyone knows the difficulty of abiding by human rules in a virtual world. I wake up the next day thinking it was a horrible tragic event that happened and how I now have a virtual criminal record. So in the morning, the admin who banned me finally responds, saying that he just cares about me violating the law and that he is right and I am wrong and that is the end. Another admin also responded by asking me to provide him the link for my ban appeal, but later in the day penalized me for spamming after he saw I was messaging other admins. But he did not even warn me either of my violation in any humane, hello, face-to-face kind of way. I tried to explain to admins that I wanted to complain about my ban appeal, but they did not share my concern. The other admin, "TruckDr1v3R," also said "The ban is correct" in conclusion to his email, and that I should stop spamming. I hope people who read this learn that there are serious consequences for any mistakes you may make in front of some admins. I hope that truckers in Europe will fight back against a police state when they see it. They share none of our worries but judge all of our mistakes. Please take care on the road. We all create our own sense of security and community, and if you believe my ban is unjust, then you are indeed a greater part of the community who fights and works hard to make sure people are safe and happy. Thanks for your time.
