Hey Crestune, First of all, we appreciate you taking time to participate in this years Q&A, and for that I would like to thank you! When someone first joins the Translation Team, they will go through a ~2 week training period. Here, people will learn how to deliver a high quality translation, and how to keep the translations up to a high standard after becoming a full Translator. We use a website called Trello, to which all Translators have access. That is where they will receive their tasks, and work on translations from there. All translations are checked on standard quality by Translation Managers, before it is published to the public. Knowledge Base Articles are added to the system by Translation Managers only, as Translators do not have access to that. Other things, like blogs, guides, forum posts etc., are posted by the Translators themselves. Our Translators work very hard to provide the community with translations, sometimes even before an article has released, so we can publish the article together with the translations right away. As mentioned before, we use a website called Trello, to which every Translator has access. It is a separate platform which is not connected to TruckersMP. For each language we currently support, we have a separate Trello board. For example, we currently have 12 boards, which means we support 12 languages. When we receive something new to translate, whether it comes from the Game Management or the Community Management, or any other management, we will create a new task on each of the 12 Trello boards, and Translators work from there. All information they need can be found on that specific task, given to them by the Translation Managers. Additionally, we have a Discord chat to stay in contact about tasks (just like any other team). The workload varies a lot, as it really depends on how many tasks we receive on a monthly basis. For example, in the month of July we completed 144 Trello tasks and 74 Translation requests, and in August we completed 89 Trello tasks and 33 Translation requests. Each and every month, we get different numbers of completed tasks, as we mainly rely on work created by other teams within the TruckersMP Team. Each language we support has no more than 2 translators, which means some people have to do all of those translations by themselves. Though, the languages which have 2 translators, are the most used and requested languages in the community. Those with only one translator, are less used and therefore perfectly doable by just one person. May the popularity of that specific language raise, we will look into getting an additional translator for that language. In short, the workload is perfectly doable, and as of now we do not have any difficulties with the languages we support. We do however look into supporting more languages soon. Hey, Even though we have many Translators in our team, this does not necessarily mean something is easy to do. As CJ explained above, it's something we used to do in the past, however we did not have a Translation team back then, and everything was done voluntarily by staff, as a sort-of side project. As CJ also mentioned, it is planned for the (far) future, however not something which will be done anytime soon. Many people often think that because we have a huge number of team members, something will be easy to do. However we often rely on changes that must be made before something is actually possible, and that means we also rely on the Developers, who also all have a life and real jobs besides TruckersMP, and this counts for all staff. Hey, Yes, your brother will be able to play when he has his own Steam account and a copy of ETS2. However, this is NOT allowed, as this is indeed counted as ban evading.
