What recording software do you all use? I am currently using fraps but am finding that the performance hit is just too much. I am only recording for reports, if someone is griefing or blocking etc, I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations.

^I've heard of this OBS, never actually given it a go. I might just try it. What kind of fps drop do you get with it?, I know Plays.TV only takes about 3fps from me.

OBS are taking around 10 FPS from me.
(I have MSI Geforce 980).

It's been ages since I've used OBS but when I used with with my older AMD card, I don't recall having any. A quick google of your card and OBS might net you some of the results you are looking for. It also depends on how you set it up. Really high quality recording being placed on the same drive as your game could cause issues lagging either in game or in your recordings. That all depends on your hardware.
