  1. Go into the game settings and turn down the rain probability slider.
  2. In order to see your dash clearly you need to increase the scale in the settings, usually to around 300%. However, just hit Esc and look at your truck info there, should tell you your current truck mileage.
  3. Well then I think there is something wrong on your end, F7 and sleeping fixes the problem for everyone else I talk to. All I can recommend now is to make a new profile and go from there.
  4. Since you know already how to fix this issue, and you have your own truck then why do you keep reseting the economy? Doing so will TP you back every time, Sleeping and F7 does not TP you back to your HQ. You kind of answered your own question. F7 or sleep, don't reset the economy through the console.
  5. In that case try doing a new profile since it doesn't seem like your that far into the game yet. Also, make sure to have a SP and a MP save, this helps time sync issues and sometimes mod issues from not happening as often.
  6. How much drivers do you have? Did you press any button on your KB or Mouse while waiting? Is your PC a potato or can it run ETS 2 on high graphics? As I said in my other post, all of the above will influence how long it will take for the black screen to disappear.
  7. Cars are still available, you just need to play on EU 2 to use them if you want to play on a populated server. Also going back to my previous post, pilot cars are useless to pilot a convoy. In TMP they are not allowed to block traffic so what use is a pilot car to a convoy? Might as well hop in your truck and turn on those beacons then you're basically a pilot car, only difference is you can take a load and make some money while piloting. Judging by the 80% positive vote on this poll, this change will probably remain.
  8. Make sure your email is inputted correctly. If you have any special characters in your email or password this might be a reason why this isn't working. Open up notepad or something and write out your email and copy it then paste it in TMP. Same with your password.
  9. ^ It's because of the player base, they'll earn more money on ETS 2 than they ever will with ATS so ATS is just getting put back even more. For example, France was released December 5th, 2016 and they want to release Italy this year as well, in fact it already has a page on the steam store. Arizona was released June 6th, 2016 and they haven't even told us a rough date for the release of NM, it also doesn't even have it's own public steam store page yet. ETS 2 basically gets 2 maps within 1 year yet ATS doesn't even get ONE map in a year. SCS is focused on ETS and it seems like they can careless about ATS now. Sure it's still under development but it doesn't seem like SCS is developing ATS at the same pace they are developing ETS 2.
  10. You could of just done /pinfo 117 in the game chat, that's how I get the TMP ID. Takes too much time to try and find the player ID in the TAB menu. I would also suggest to move off of the main road when you're going to report someone through the TAB menu, as I said it takes time and if you sit there long enough then you'll just get reported for blocking since the road in front of you was clear after the guy hit you. EDIT: Now to find the TMP you must do this: C:\Users\User\Documents\ETS2MP\logs Find the date you were playing and open the log_spawning file. (By searching [ctrl + F] and I find Notepad ++ easier to find info.) Find the player name or server ID. PS: Admins would rather you do /pinfo in game since it CANNOT be edited, the log spawning file can be edited by the user to change the TMP ID of a certain player to try and report a different player.
  11. @KrewlexDesigns LOL, I never said they can't block traffic IRL, going back to that post "Pilots cars were already useless when they were first implemented. You can't block traffic like they do IRL" I know pilot cars IRL block traffic they need to so the drivers get the room they need. However, they cannot do it in TMP making the pilot cars useless.
  12. Well, assuming your second monitor doesn't have the game on it you cannot use your cursor if you have your game full screen. In order to use your cursor you need to alt + tab out of the game then you can use it.
  13. Pilots cars were already useless when they were first implemented. You can't block traffic like they do IRL, so what use is a pilot car? The pilot car has beacons, but so do the trucks in ETS 2. Instead of using a car to pilot they can use a truck and still have beacons and still pilot a convoy, just not in a car. My VTC doesn't use pilot cars and we do just fine, and at times we have 20+ members in a convoy. All you need to have someone designated as the lead, and someone designated as the tail. The leader warns the convoy of what lanes we need, if players are coming and when we are about to turn. The tail tells the leader when they fall behind, when a player is passing the rear of the convoy and when a collision has happened. No pilot car involved. Inappropriate Convoy Management Groups (And Individuals) which offer services such as piloting a convoy, or directing trucks during a convoy are not allowed to block, or slow down, traffic in any way, shape, or form.
  14. EU1 No cars, speed limit EU2 Cars, no speed limit EU3 (was) Cars, no speed limit EU4 Global NCZ (Troll free) Why have 2 servers the exact same? That's why they changed EU3 instead of EU4. Those who hate being rammed play on EU4 without the fear of getting a damaged load, EU2 is the most popular server so they leave that untouched, EU1 is the simulation server so that leaves EU3. Some may argue that if EU2 is full they have a server to fall back on and still drive a car, but think of it this way. If you're driving a car, what are you actually doing? You can't grab a load and make money, all you're doing is just driving. Which don't get me wrong is fine, but if all you want to do is drive around then hop in your truck and drive, get a trailer while you're at it and make some money. 100% agree with this, but because of the physics behind the car they do more damage than they should when a reckless driver hits another player in a truck. Also, if a troll had the option between a truck and a car they'd choose the car all the time just because of the damage it can do. Granted there will still be trolls on EU3 I would imagine the number will be much lower now just because they need to drive a truck instead of a car. If they banned the cars on all servers then trolls would have no choice but to drive a truck which wouldn't really change anything. You can control it, I can control them, others can control them, however, the majority wrecks it for the few. Typically, the majority of all car drivers drive recklessly so as a result they wreck it for the few who can drive them properly.
  15. This isn't caused by graphics, this won't be fixed by reinstalling the game (for short period it will be). What's actually happening is a time sync issue. Whenever you stop playing SP all time stops, when you log back in time resumes, as a result your game doesn't need to calculate game time. Whenever you play MP and stop playing time keeps going, this is why you might log into a late load or a blank market, time just kept going. So in MP whenever you fast forward time (F7, sleep, etc) the game calculates data as it catches back up to MP time. Example you log out at 6:00PM game time and leave for 2 days IRL. Your game thinks you're still at 6:00PM game time when you logged off, when you log back in all of a sudden there's 2 IRL days worth of game time so you might be 2 weeks in the future according to the game. When you fast forward time then it calculates all of the data from 6PM to the "true" server time. How to fix: Drive to a NCZ and F7, this will ensure you're not blocking the road while you're doing this. Now simply wait. This might take 5 minutes or it might even take 30 minutes, but whatever you do DO NOT PRESS ANY BUTTONS ON YOUR KEYBOARD, doing so can and probably will lock up your game. Once your game starts showing picture again you should be good for a while. This happened to me once and I haven't had an issue yet. Things that influence the time it takes to calculate time: Workers. If you have workers the more workers you have the more time it WILL take. The game needs to calculate loads for every worker not just you. Switching between SP and MP. As I said SP time stops, MP time doesn't, so you will keep on switching game time every time you log into SP from MP or vice versa. Your PC. If you have a potato it will probably take you much longer than a player who has a faster computer.
  16. It should work on MP, try to buy a new Scania on MP and see if that works. PLEASE NOTE: If you happen to change the rear of the truck to a DLC rear it will replace the brakes and signal lights. ONLY the players with the Griffin Tuning DLC can see the new rear. In the spolier below is what i'm talking about. If you happen to be driving with just your truck players behind you will not know when you want to turn and they don't know when your breaking if you do not use the stock option. As I said above, only the players who have this DLC will be able to see the above (in spoiler) rear accessories.
  17. If you're doing a World of Trucks contract this would be why.
  18. ^The AFK timer will remain the same, the only purpose of the timer is to kick users who aren't doing anything so others have the chance to play. It also keeps the servers full of active players so server resources aren't being used up for nothing. I'll agree that players who park on the actual road should be kicked, but those who park on the side do not deserve to be kicked. Also considering the fact if you hit that player on the side of the road you're at fault because they were out of the way and you were driving in the shoulder. IMO the "if you don't move in 1 minute you'll be kicked" message is good enough. Regardless of what you're doing if your screen is in your peripheral vision the red message catches the eye. If you don't want to miss the message then keep your chat open when your AFK then you'll always see that message. The moment you leave your computer the AFK timer is doing what it's meant to be doing, you can't see your computer screen so a visible timer in this instance makes no sense. If you're sitting at your computer then the AFK timer is annoying, but you can see your computer screen. In this instance you'll still be able to see the warning message in chat and reset it every so often, if you can see the red message, a visible timer isn't needed. I'm around players who reset the AFK timer all the time and it isn't annoying at all. I'm not against this, I just feel that this is not a necessary thing to add.
  19. C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\American Truck Simulator It doesn't matter if the beginning is C or D, just replace C with D. Regardless the game files will still be in the steam directory and that steam folder should still be in the x86 program folder. Only you know where your steam folder will be since it seems like you've changed the location of it, but the above directory is where the default is. If you happen to change where you want steam games to install you'll have issues getting help because it's at a place you put it. Yours should be: D:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\American Truck Simulator
  20. For those wanting to sync with friends / VTC just use this program: Sure it would be nice to have a feature like this already in the game, but it's already kind of here, just need to use the above program every time you want to sync with a player. NOTE: With the program make sure you ONLY sync the DLC that every player owns. If you happen to select a DLC someone who you want to sync with doesn't own you get a completely different list of loads.
  21. Unless you have a youtube channel there's no point to record if you don't want to report player anymore. You can still report just make sure they are actually breaking a rule instead of just bothering you. Also as I have posted before, with this it will block out the spam reports, if there are no spam reports the web reports will go much quicker.
  22. With this new system I would assume quite a bit of "false reports" wouldn't get submitted and if they do eventually that player seems like they will no longer be able to report. Reports then might get done much quicker since they don't need to go through spam reports every single time. Issue with this though, the evidence is still up to the admins discretion who is viewing that report. I reported a player for driving on the wrong side of the road with a picture, it got accepted. A few months later I reported another player for driving on the wrong side of the road with a picture, it got denied for "insufficient evidence". In both instances I didn't have my recording software open or else I would have submitted a video, but also in both pictures it clearly showed each player driving on the wrong side of the road. So even though I reported a player for who I thought to be breaking a rule, with this new system it seems like that the one denied wrong way report would have been against me? Also there has been a few time where you report a player then the admin comes back saying "player is already banned, denied". I would assume that this wouldn't go against us?
  23. What type of login issue? What MP game are you trying to access (ATS or ETS)? What is exactly happening when you try and log in? We need more info than just "Help, I can't log in"
  24. +1 Going through a list of 20+ players isn't fun.
