Its quite a good idea. Which means less trolls on the road
It would be nice to see this in ets2mp -
The idea is good in a way, and bad in the other. Its quite pointless also because game moderators has the red name, but it doesn't mean its a bad idea.

@[SCO] speedy, @Kehox. I don't play ETS2MP on a PC, I play on a laptop and its fully capable of beacons. I made the suggestion for those that don't have a good enough laptop or pc, also not everyone can afford to pay for a good laptop/pc. Even if they have a good laptop/PC and runs other games well, it doesn't mean it can run ETS2 well.
Only because you people have a good enough pc, doesn't mean that this suggestion is bad and have to think its a joke, its better that you didn't comment to this at all otherwise. -
If so, then that report would always be known as **Waiting For Admin** so then the moderators wouldn't know if it has been done or not causing larger time to do all the reports that coming in because think about it, pretty much like 5,000+ people everyday, meaning about 800+ reports everyday. So the reports would just be piling up and they wont get all of them done in time.

I don't play ATS, but that requires to go through the scs file of the mod to change the script and also remember that it wont just be 1 car mod, that be two because they would have different scripts then. Which then will increase the download time of the ATSMP Launcher. Also the developers would also have to do the same thing they did to the normal scout cars to the newer scout car which is permissions.

Like everyone else on here. -1. Yes its very unrealistic but you also have to think about the developers. It ain't easy setting up new servers just for something so small.

Sorry but this is quite a bad idea due to you could just drift off to sleep on a busy road which then other people screens can be classed as *Ramming* or *Reckless Driving* which then can result into a ban. However I do like that you say it makes the game more realistic!

It's okay but the part where it removes your reputation is the part that bothers me. Other than that its quite a good idea!

Its half and half for me.
Advantages=
You could make the founder/owner of the VTC to have access to commands to allow players to choose it
Trucks will stand out and will be professional

Suggestion Name: Reset buttonSuggestion Description: A button on the tab page to reset the truck when flipped, in sky, falling through ground

Why should it be added?: There are a lot of trolls and accidents on the road and when it happens, the truck either gets tipped on the side or fully rolled over or even worse is falling through the ground. So what this button does is put the truck back on the edge of the road, ghost mode could also be used to make sure no collision flings happen when re-spawning. This will help drivers of parking up to load the save or going to a garage and driving all the way back.
Ghost mode would be better other than no collision because trolls would just keep using this button to make other players fly into the sky and yes however when ghost mode turns off it could do the same but it could be programmed to only turn it off when there is no players within a 5 meter radius of the truck/trailer. It could also be programmed to only work when the truck is tipped otherwise players will just use this feature to go through heavy amount of traffic which is a disadvantage.

Love the idea, but 1 small issue. When the player with the car gets kicked. They cant really get into the game again to remove the load unless they do it when they got kicked and disconnected to the server. +1

@ShadowWolf2k7 I see what you mean. I would say that EU2 is the main server that the script has to be put on because that pretty much full all the time.

@MaffewE, it would be nice to see an option in the truckersmp settings part of the launcher that you can disable the script for people like you, however it will still affect people with bad computers or laptops. I do see what you mean tho. However thanks for saying its a good idea

No no, I mean that the auto beacon off script can run the same script of what is ran when that button is pressed, so the script can run that script in the background without it force opening the F4 menu (if that makes sense). Also I don't think that the script goes off of what the beacon button is mapped to. I do get what you mean tho.

@Trucker Dashcam // Sweden True, but when you do F4 and press 4 which also turns on/off the beacons, you could find the script that runs when you press it which then could be used in this script to turn off the beacons due to amount of players

Suggestion Name: Beacon Script - Enforcing Rule
Suggestion Description: Just a basic script that turns off beacons if there is a certain amount of playing in a radius.

Why should it be added?: I think this should be added because many people still use beacons in high populated area's which is against the rules which also causes lag for other players. How I think this would work, is by a script detecting the amount of players in a radius (same type of the tab player list) and when it gets over and certain number, it turns off the beacons to reduce lag and to also keep the player from getting kicked/banned. I would think that the number 30 would be great for the script to turn the beacons off, the number is not too low or not too high, just perfect
Not only that this is reducing lag, it also enforces the rule. If you wish, you can make it so in the TruckersMP Launcher settings, there can be a part so you can turn the script on or off because most people like to have beacons on and sometimes the script may turn off the beacons even tho there is not one near you but still saying a high number on the player list from a convoy far away. Another good idea adding to this idea is that it will put a message on your screen saying that the beacons have been disabled. For Example: "[CONSOLE] Beacons Turned Off Because Amount Of Players!"
I do hope this idea gets into ETS2MP because it will help many people (hopefully)
I have used the search option, nothing came up for the term *beacons* which is to do of what I said above

This idea is a yes and no with me, reasons listed below
The reason why I think it should be added is because I have issues with a owner of another VTC using *DDH Owner* as there tag even when I told them to remove it (they was being a pain because I banned them from my Discord server for bullying my staff member), which was during my convoy which then caused LARGE issues with convoy controlling.
The reason why I don't think it should be added is because the download file for the TruckersMP update would be increased and bad for people with slow internet speeds. It can also cause issues if you forget the password so which then would have to be reset. A staff member can also give out that password with out the Owner knowing so which then there is no point of having a set tag. Also, if a new VTC a rises, then they would have to contact a member of TruckersMP development team to put the tag in and set a password. Which then comes to my other point of that pretty much EVERY VTC would have to be contacted for a custom tag and password.
I'm not saying that I don't think it shouldn't be added, it would be nice to see something like this to stop confusion of real and non-real members of a VTC.
I hope many more people will like this idea because I do, but there a loads of issues that needs to be addressed. -
To be honest, I love it. HOWEVER it can be a struggle because wearing a VR can make you quite dizzy, and you could possibly cause a crash, which is why if this does get added, go on a server with not many people to get use to it in multiplayer, then move up to bigger servers. +1

Oh yes sorry. I have found this steam workshop mod thing for the daf and that works in multiplayer and via that the LED's show up. However thanks for everyone replying to this!! I'm highly grateful.
