  1. Apparently Grimes has released an updated version of the physics which solves the issues. Not so sure but according to others, it has actually solved the issue of being flung into the air and the accelerating problem.

That version is better only in terms of braking, makes the road even more slippery and the things go way worse when it starts to snow. His first version of the mod was better in my opinion.

Odd... I checked the changes and only 1 line was changed and that reduced the slip for lateral (previously -0.5, now -0.4).
This change increases stability and will increase grip as far as I can tell. Plus in ETS2 when it rains (even without winter mod) the grip is massively worse, so it seems that when it snows the physics being like that is out of our and Grimes' control.

As far as I can tell, it seems a lot better than previously (I havent been sent into orbit yet either) and I prefer it over before as there is slightly more grip and better braking.

Then I don't know, maybe it reduces effectiveness of brakes, because I had really hard time stopping from low speeds where I wanted using air brakes, even when braking much earlier than without the mod. However reducing my speed with retarder don't seem any different.

Also, do the tyres matter, I'm using Michelin tyres with B rating for wet condition (there isn't better than that)?
