Greetings truckers
Today, we have some exciting news for you guys. For the first time in TruckersMP, we will be supporting Frosty Winter Weather Mod for both Euro Truck Simulator 2 and American Truck Simulator.
In order to use the modification on our servers, there are a few steps you will have to follow. As per the modification creator's request, the winter modification will be provided in the same way as the previous year.
For more information about how to enjoy winter on our servers, check out our knowledge base article How to install the winter mod.Like in previous years, the winter modification is only optional. You do not have to download all packages to play TruckersMP. The modification is compatible with ProMods, so it can be used on those servers, too.
Note: All rules need to be respected, even if you have the winter mod activated. If you are found breaking the rules (even when certain offences are caused due to winter effects) the case will be reviewed in the same way as when the winter mod isn't applied. Please refer to our rules for more information.

Hello everyone!
A few weeks ago we announced that we are doing the final work on making ProMods compatible with our mod. Today we're happy to announce that the day you've all been waiting for is finally there. As of now you can fully enjoy ProMods online with your friends!

How do I install ProMods to work with TruckersMP?
TL;DR: You can install ProMods the way you are used to for single player in your mods folder of ETS2. The Only difference is that you don't have to have all the mod files active in your mod manager in-game (if you have, this is not a problem).
A step-by-step guide on how to install ProMods can be found here.
How do I join the ProMods server?
After you've correctly installed ProMods you can join by selecting the dedicated ProMods server which will be recognisable by the name and the ProMods icon in the server description.

Hello everyone!October is the international month for breast cancer awareness. During this time, charities organise health campaigns and fundraisers to help fight the disease. In order to contribute to this cause, SCS Software has released 2 paintjob packs (1 for ETS2 and 1 for ATS). All revenue of these packs will be donated directly to charity. At this time this is Breast Cancer Research Foundation (https://www.bcrf.org/ - USA) and the Alliance of Women with Breast Cancer. (Local Czech charity - https://www.breastcancer.cz/en/).
Now you may ask Why is TruckersMP making a post about a charitable event of SCS Software? Well, in order to support these charities we will organise a convoy on Sunday 6 October. During this event we highly encourage everyone joining to show their support by using the pink ribbon paintjobs. You can buy these paintjobs on steam.

Hello everyone!
Thank you all for the massive support you have all shown during the stream and on our platforms! This has been a record breaking build-up of events across all our online platforms none of this would have been possible without you. Some numbers:
- +600 subs on YouTube during the stream
- Peak of 2315 viewers on stream
- +1.5k followers on our Instagram since start of teasers
- We were also trending on YouTube Gaming & YouTube in general
- Many more broken records on Facebook, Twitter and Discord as well as on ProMods side
Since we revealed the support for ProMods it is time to do a small recap of the important things that have been said during the reveal stream. More detailed information such as Knowledge Base articles and other blog posts will be made available closer to the actual release.
ProMods support
When will ProMods be supported?
Our closest aim is to have ProMods supported by the end of the month (September), but realistically this will most likely be mid October. This allows both teams at TruckersMP and ProMods to smooth out the last little issues so that a good product can be released. As a sidenote is that the release can be delayed if SCS comes out with a game update that requires extra work at TruckersMP or ProMods.
Will I be able to play with the current version of ProMods after the release?
No, you will not be able to use ProMods 2.41 on multiplayer. Multiplayer will be supported as of version 2.42 of which a beta version was used during the reveal. So if you plan to download ProMods already and you don't plan on playing it in single player then we advise you to wait until the release of 2.42.
Will I need all map DLCs to play on TruckersMP in the future?
No, we would never force you to buy DLCs. However, owning all map DLCs is a requirement in order to play ProMods and as such this will also be the case on the ProMods server.
How will the ProMods server be set up?
The ProMods server will be a separate server with 2500 slots in simulation mode. As time goes by we will evaluate the server performance and see if the number of available slots can be increased if there is a need for it. External contracts won't be possible as World of Trucks doesn't support the added and (heavily) modified areas. NCZ zones will work in the same way as on any other server so that means that companies, repair stations, ferries and garages will be covered to ensure safe passage. Other TruckersMP features such as the car and caravan will also work on the ProMods server. However, you won't be able to select jobs with the caravan outside the base map & SCS DLCs.
Official TruckersMP partners
With the support of ProMods we are also announcing a partnership with the ProMods team. Official partners are groups with which we can build up a mutually beneficial relationship for collaborations, knowledge sharing etc. This is our 1st officially announced partnership, but there is another one on the way.
Other news
AI traffic support
The project is not scrapped, but because SCS is still constantly making changes to the AI it is very difficult for us to complete it as working with AI is very complex. At the point where we 1st showed you the video of AI traffic in multiplayer we had a working prototype. Unfortunately, SCS then released new game versions through time with a massive change to AI which they have been improving ever since.
ETS2Map
We are working to get ETS2Map updated and working properly again. Our first focus is to get the base map fully supported after which we will add the ProMods map.

Event Team satisfaction survey

Hello everyone!
A great community thrives on its people. Therefore community input is a critical part of this project.
As such we are again asking for your input.
This time we are specifically looking at our Event Team. The Event Team is responsible for planning and guiding official TruckersMP events as well as providing assistance at events organised by the community.
The survey will cover satisfaction on several key points of interest of the Event Team as well as questions about your opinion on several topics related to the Event Team.
