  1. Well, the CB radio has all the features a CB radio would realistically need, the problem is the community using it. i.e. it's mostly used for yelling insults, or useless/immature spam, people speaking in foreign languages and whatnot. I at least had the perception that the actual purpose(s) of CB radios were to relay information and to occasionally combat loneliness. But honestly, the only thing you could do from a designer standpoint would be creating a software that accurately translates any audio feed to 'trucker lingo', and I guess that's a little bit too advanced, for now.
  2. This can't be stressed enough. ATSMP is finally stable and working with 1.5. It's time to bring back the american trucks.

Do you mean they should just add more trucks?

  3. Uhh... So, I've been able to play today, about an hour prior to this post I'm writing atm, client version 0.2.1.3.5 and ets2 version 1.26.2, with france dlc installed, but after I got dced from the game, I haven't been able to connect back with any of my save profiles. The error prompt I receive upon connecting goes something along the lines of "Your mod client does not match with the server one", though I've made sure I've downloaded and installed the newest one. Anyone else unable to connect at the moment? Edit: That's weird enough, working again, as if nothing happened in the first place...
  4. Who knows at this point, but I somehow feel that it has got something to do with the latest updates that added a lot of dlc content to the mod, causing additional server-side lag as the server has to deal with distinguishing who has the dlc files installed and who hasn't. (just check the console at any time, it's often full of hookup -related messages and dlc file names.) This in turn has seemed to cause a lot of cases, where the trucks 'lag in place' (for an example, during a convoy, our group was stopped at roadside, when the truck behind me started to visibly lag in place, seemingly jumping up and down. Eventually, the lagging truck's hitbox detected my truck's hitbox and I ended flipping over the roadside fence due to 'a collision' that happened only in a very technical sense.) Usually, this sort of lag affects only areas with large numbers of players, but perhaps it is possible that the server-side lag is causing trucks to detect themselves under the road or inside a wall even while driving. (I have seen cases where a player leaves a busy repair shop, only to fall inside the road, without even bumping to anyone while leaving the non-collision zone.) Of course, this is mostly deduction, and since I don't have a computer capable of recording while playing, I can't supply evidence either.
  5. I guess this should fix the 'tornado trucks' -bug, but I wonder if we're still gonna need an additional patch to sort out the racetrack crash bug... Nice work nonetheless, and a quick response too.
