  1. Every single time I play on EU#2 (mostly on ETS2) I am reminded why I don't like it. -_-

Makes for some great videos though :D

The only reason why I put up with all the BS EU#2 throws on my face every time I set my wheels on it. :\

  2. I'm on my work hours but there is no work to do at the moment. I feel like driving a little on MP but there's very few people on the ATS servers. :( I guess ETS2 will have to do. :(

  3. I love the challenges ATS throws at the player when it comes to parking the trailer!

  4. May 26th. Happy birthday to me.

I don't remember the month but it was back in 2014 (either middle or first half of 2014). It's already been two years! Wow. How time goes by fast! :o

Fun! I got into watching some of your videos, very nicely made. I'm subscriber 2403, ahaha. :D

      Thank you so much! :D

  6. People like this are the reason I hate playing on EU#2. Sure, imbeciles are everywhere but on EU#2 they can abuse the limitless speed to cause greater trouble. Such as this <insult of your choice here>.

  7. On June 3rd, 2015 it was said that rigids are alive. But my question is... are they still alive?

I wish SCS would give us any news about it. :c It's been so long now.

The patience is here and fine. I am just wondering. It's not like I'm all like, "ERMEGHERD RELASE TEH RIGIDS ALREADY PLS!!!". lol

  8. Trip to Rotterdam went better than expected. But that's not to say it was flawless. :\ Everything was fine until I left the repair shop after I arrived in the city. I looked both sides and it was clear to cross the street to head to the garage but then, out of the blue, a car came out of nowhere and hit me on the side. He must've been doing at least 70 KM/h.

yea that happens to me all the time  lol

  9. I haven't been to Rotterdam/Europport ever since ATS was released. In fact, I have barely touched ETS2 since. Though since at this exact moment most players are on ETS2's EU#2 and I need some footage for my series (and cars got permission to pass through Europoort), I am considering to grab my Skoda and venture there to see what's going on. Very likely that I will regret this decision but I am tempted to. I'd rather venture through Oxnard, though, but there aren't many people on ATS, right now. :\

ik, but looking how the guy broke the physics only to crash in you makes me happy <3 xDDD

  11. I fear the hard drive I run Steam and all my games from is dying. Just shortly ago ATS froze and a bunch of unexpected behaviours began to manifest. All drives but this one are being accessed fine and quickly, Windows is running fine and files stored on the other drives are available normally. Only the content in this drive is acting up. Slow access, freezing, Steam games won't launch or download and Steam itself gave me a error while trying to update a game saying that there was a disk write error. :\

Thankfully all I have there is basically Steam and its games so if the hard drive does die the loss shouldn't be great. There are, however, one particular folder I can't lose in there. It's big (over 77GB so that's why I've been keeping it there) and I will have to figure out where to transfer it to while I can. :(

    it's going to be a big issue if I have to buy a new hard drive. Because if the crisis in my country, prices are currently all the way up through the roof and I don't have the budget for it. ;-;

  12. Driving down that narrow little road near San Francisco on my way to the city (I love that little road <3) I came a cross a little car stuck on a rock on the side of the road next to the rest stop on a hill. His wheels would not grip because they could not touch the ground. Who knows he got stuck there. He asked for help while I was driving by and although I could simply say "F7+Enter, dude" as I probably should have I decided to be a good Samaritan and do my kindness gesture of the day. I pulled up at the rest stop, asked what was the situation and offered to give him a push. He accepted so I detached my trailer at the rest stop so it wouldn't block any traffic if there happened to have any, drove down to the car and gently pushed the thing back into the road. He thanked, I responded and each followed our paths.

It was fun. :) I love being nice. lol

P.S: Remember that in a few months, Santa! Not that I want anything and such, y'know. >.>

    2. .StεvƐ.

this sounds so much like something that happened to me going back a month or so ago, same stretch of road, I was heading up the winding section with the cliffs either side, until I came across a guy who looked to have tried to avoid oncoming traffic, but slid off the side and down into the valley below, I should have said to him "F7 + enter" and driven on, but I decided to pull forward a little and asked him if he wanted help, he said yes so I went to the rest area, dropped my trailer out of everyone's way, spun around and dived off the side of the road, careful not to roll myself, then got behind him and used low gears to push his truck up onto the road enough that he could get grip, as soon as we made some headway and he got a little grip, enough to pull slowly forward, his truck ran out of fuel, so sadly he had to F7, but it was fun to actually try and rescue someone and do something nice for others.

The 162 is always a bad stretch of road if you go too fast.

Thats a good video, enjoyed commentary.

  14. I see some people whining about the cars.

This is my reaction to them:

  15. I just gave the car a quick test drive and I have a question to make:

    What are brakes?

lol but seriously, though... You'd think that the cars would brake better/quicker than the trucks because they are so much smaller and lighter but nope. Even at 40 miles they still take forever to come to a full stop. It's as if their tires or the road were made out of butter. Hahah. Any (unloaded) truck will stop way faster.

I might postpone the next episode of Crashes Compilation 22 for a day more just to give a better go with the car. Maybe I record a full trip with commentary on this Monday.

My actual only complaint about these cars (besides being limited to the free roam servers) is that you can't take on loads to deliver (trailer pulling is not allowed) so basically the only thing you can do with them is go for a ride.

even by following the car speed limit, some turn on the highway is still too tight :3

    4. Mike Dragon

      Mike Dragon

Oh yeah. Regarding the handling, I did notice you can easily lose control at high speeds. Though since I always average a max of 35-40 MPh in cities and 50-60-70 MPh on highways/roads (which I did on my short test drive) that's not much of an issue for me. =P Unless I go full speed around a corner, obviously. But I'm not stupid. lol I think that the major "problem" with the handling are the brakes themselves. They don't help much with the slowing process and thus, you may end up going faster than you should around a certain bend, depending on your speed. Or maybe run a red light because you could not stop in time (happened twice with me last night and I was only doing 40 :\ ).

  16. So, I've been told that tomorrow we should have a special treat! I shall grab my dashcam for I smell some new and good clips for Crashes Compilation just around the corner!

  17. Here's what I think of all of you who honk at someone who's stopped at a red light because you want them to move:

    Screw you!

The light's red. I ain't moving on a red light. And neither should you. Honk all you want. Only the green light will make me move. Don't like it? Then too bad for you. Suck it!

    1. MashedPotaton8r

Agreed. Those kind of people who want other people to play their preferred way. And in most, if not all cases, it's not a good way.

  18. I should be making Crashes Compilation 22 this Saturday so for those of you who enjoy my series, stay tuned for there should be a new episode sometime this weekend. :)

  19. Now here's something I haven't done in a really long while... recording myself doing art. Last night I had this idea for a picture to gift a very good friend of mine so I decided to record the whole thing. I've done this before (record the drawing process, that is. I draw all the time, I just don't record it all the time) but it's been a few years, since. This pic is a gift for a good friend of mine and since I want to surprise her, I'm keeping the video Unlisted until the work is done and uploaded to my Deviant Art gallery. Only then I will make the videos Public. But for now, for whatever reason that is unknown to me, I decided to share it with you guys.

This is only part one of a few. I don't think I will be sharing the others here, though. Unless you want me to.

  20. All he had to do was open the program to see if the error message was still going to pop up after I fixed it but no... That pinhead of my client just HAD to reinstall the program with an instance of it already running because it was taking a while to load, despite me telling him that reinstall would not change that.

The result? The program got corrupted and I had to waste nearly FOUR HOURS trying to fix his shit.

My entire afternoon of work wasted because the [email protected]$$ thought he knew better than me. Now the day is over and I could not attend the other three calls I have in wait and tomorrow is a holiday. I'm SO mad, right now! >_<

The worst is that I couldn't fix it, after all. All's right and there is no reason for the program to not work and yet... It still refuses to even open on the screen. In the end I had to tell him to contact the software's support people.

I hate it SO much when I tell someone to do or not to do something and they ignore it. So far I haven't been wrong even once when giving out these warnings. Not once!

Sounds like my daily life since grade 10 (maybe longer) :D

Work's esp annoying... yesterday i told my supervisor "i got this" (not really but the point), they turned around (after i left, i leave 30 min before everyone) got 2 others spend prob the rest of the day doing the stupid stuff that would of taken me 30 min to do my self... Worst part is? they didnt even finish it... now it's a organized mess!

Annoying how people do this stuff... <_<

You never thought about the lack of self control is what has caused this? Simply put by using your max download speed continuously for 3 hours at the same time as everyone else you collectively put huge strain on their servers. Are servers cheap in Brazil? Basically Brazil has caused it's own problems in this case.

Like i said i dont agree with the 10GB cap but if what you say is true, you only have yourselves to blame for this implementation. You decided to go with Netflix and YouTube vs actual cable, and you became addicted to bandwidth.

If you lived in Canada 5 years ago, to be with bell or rogers with 50GB cap would of been a minimum of $50 plus fees, could knock it down in a bundle but the bundles would normally reach over 150 a month. Once you go beyond dial-up speed does not matter but bandwidth. I'm with neither, i'm with a 3rd party reseller. Bell does not even sell my speed anymore, they are now forcing all new clients to go with the more expensive fiber.

Based on their current site you get 15 down for $25 CAD, I personally would love that, i pay nearly twice the amount for half the speed and thats the cheapest plan for me where i live. Now i dont know how much you pull in... but the easiest solution is cut your cable and cut netflix, limit youtube to only uploading.

10GB is doable, if you have control. Which by the sounds of it Brazilian citizens dont... I live off my phone, my home might have 400GB but my phone only has 5GB i rarely go over it.(i dont get penalized, just limited)

Best way of hurting them is their pocket book, get a bandwidth app on to your computer find what you can cut, and try stay with in the limits. Thats all you can do (next to leaving the country)

    3. Mike Dragon

      Mike Dragon

And whoever said Brazil has continuous download speeds? Have "unlimited" connection is one thing but our services have never been reliable enough to even compare to the quality in countries such as Canada or the US. Out of all the ISPs only two are still going to provide unlimited connection and given the recent events involving the ISPs and streaming services, absolutely no one (not even specialists) believe it has anything to do with strain on servers. Until it was bought by VIVO, for example, GVT invested heavily on their infrastructure to live up to their promise of always delivering 100% of the contracted bandwidth to their clients and they always did. It was a considerably pretty good quality in comparison to the others. It only changed recently after VIVO's acquisition. So no. It was not a matter of infrastructure.

    4. Darth Wazawai

      Darth Wazawai

I need a new modem so I lose connection constantly, so I know how that feels...

However if one provider has good quality till a acquisition it sounds like a infrastructure issue for consistency.

They may claim the cap is to help invest/repair but like the pace I live in it's just for more money grab (the local not municipality gov takes for investing in future repairs, but claims it has no money)

Also others might of followed due to bullying by the original one

Much like how bell and Rogers is in the mobile internet landline services, what they say usually goes

    1. The Imaginative Lad

      The Imaginative Lad

      Nice compilation.

The first one however was not the truckers fault. There is a bug were players randomly jump. This is my experience from when my truck randomly jumped whilst passing another player - http://plays.tv/video/5708e6f7688149c383/bug-report-09-04-16-12-00

    2. Mike Dragon

      Mike Dragon

@The Imaginative Lad Thanks, man! :)

I'm not quite sure he "jumped" due to that weird glitch. It seems more like he actually hit the rail guard on the left side of the road and lost control momentarily, causing his truck to swerve into the right lane. I didn't actually blame him, though. I did honk but didn't complain. To be honest, I've had that happen to me at least twice. I managed to keep control and not hit anyone, though. Also I think I caught both (or at least one) in video and it's in one of the previous compilations so I can backup my case. lol Regardless, that jump thing is odd. Never had it happen to me.

  24. Crashes Compilation 21 is ready. I will leave it uploading overnight, this evening so it should available by Sunday morning. :)
